Longer life duration with double glass Most solar panels have a glass plate on the front side, protecting the solar cells from weather influences. By also placing a glass plate on the back side, instead of the traditional foil, the life duration of the panel increases significantly. Polycrystalline modules An exellent choice for your project Although much used in many PV-installations, nowadays we see polycrystalline modules mostly in middle- or large scale installations on flat roofs and in solar parks. When there s no shortage of space and aesthetics are less important, these modules are indeed a very economical choice. In situations where one wants to generate electricity as well as thermal energy with solar power, the VolThera PVT system can be a good choice. The VolThera modules can not only be the solution in situations with limited physical space, but also when a uniform look is desired. Standardly equipped with an SolarEdge power optimizer, these modules can be combined with standard PV-modules within one installation. Storage Certified by Solarif Solarif is a worldwide independent insurance advisor protecting PV assets, a risk assessor of solar panels and inverters for manufacturers willing to become Solarif-certified and a professional matching service for PV project buyers and sellers. Solarif sets requirements which the manufacturer has to meet when he wishes to become Solarif-certified. In order to be able to meet the requirements, the manufacturer has to allow Solarif to assess their production processes and financial situation. If necessary, current processes and procedures will have to be adapted. If the manufacturer meets the requirements, Solarif will place the approved panels or inverters on the list of Solarif-certified products. After certification a yearly audit takes place to verify whether the products and financial situation continue to meet the requirements. All around us we see solar panels on roofs of houses and company s and in large scale projects. It is evident that solar energy as percentage of the total energy production is increasing. But the sun doesn t shine always. Clouds can obstruct the solar rays, and at night, of course, the sun doesn t shine at all. We live in a 24 hour economy nowadays, using electrical equipment all the time, even while we sleep. So our energy consumption is not in sync with the times when solar energy is produced. Energy storage is the solution for this. And with the increasing production volume of PV energy there is also a growing need for storage.
