This fixture is intended for installation in accordance with the National Electric Code and Local and State Codes and must be installed by a licensed electrical contractor. DO NOT INSTALL THIS FIXTURE IN DAMP LOCATIONS. DO NOT INSTALL FIXTURE WITHOUT A MINIMUM 1/2 INCH CLEARANCE ALL AROUND THE FIXTURE. ENSURE CLEARANCE AT TOP OF CHANNEL IS 3 INCHES. THIS FIXTURE IS FOR INSTALLATION IN NON INSULATED CEILINGS ONLY. To prevent electrical shock, turn off electricity at fuse box before installing the fixture. Remove lid from power supply assembly and locate powerfeed knockout that connects to building wire. Set parts aside. 3. Locate wall and orient fixture to ensure correct tilt angle (aperture opening to face wall). There is a sticker declaring the wall direction. 4. When placing into GRID ceiling, ensure correct grid dimensions per diagrams to the right. 5. SUPPORT unit to structure via All-Thread Coupler bracket supplied by ALW. 6. If joining multiple sections together, insert joining bracket into middle slot on both connecting sections and proceed to tighten set screw (8-32 set screw should be supplied). 7. Locate building conduit (by others) and connect to power supply and splice power connections within enclosure per submitall drawing electrical callouts. 8. Push wires into enclosure and secure lid onto enclosure using supplied screws. 9. Turn on power ALL-THREAD COUPLER: ALWAYS USE ALL-THREAD COUPLER TO SUPPORT STRUCTURE. MUD-FLANGE SUPPORT DETAIL NO METAL FROM MUD-FLANGE SHOULD BE EXPOSED AFTER PLASTER/MUDDING 2. Locate MUD ACCESSORY and ensure correct orientation by locating "WALL SIDE" sticker. 3. Insert mud accessory into opening and align the bottom of mud accessory to be flush with ceiling surface. 4. Secure mud accessory to proper blocking/stud support with SCREWS (by others) or other fasteners as needed. For mud-in application, drywall is in front of "mud wings", tape and putty to edges, no metal should be exposed on drywall. 5. Pull building conduit (by others) through mud accessory. 6. Locate the power supply enclosure on fixture body and remove power supply enclosure lid and set aside for later use. 7. Terminate building conduit to 7/8" KO located on power supply enclosure. Make electrical connections inside enclosure per project submital drawing electrical callouts. Ensure that no wires are pinched. ANCHOR FIXTURE TO MUD-ACCESSORY 8. Re-attach lid and locate DC/DC powercord on opposite side of power supply enclosure. Make electrical connections to fixture body (if not already connected by factory) using color coded connectors. 9. Insert fixture into mud accessory and locate achor points located near the aperture opening. Refer to diagram on right for illustration. 10. HYLYTR WALL GRAZER RECESSED PERIMETER Page 5 of 11 Perimeter PERIMETER BRACKET DETAIL 1. DISCONNECT power at fuse box before installing fixture. 2. Remove lid from power supply assembly and locate powerfeed knockout that connects to building wire. Set parts aside. 2. Install aluminum L-extrusion at specified height according to grid diagrams on page 4 to match your grid ceiling. This extrusion is intended to hide uneveness of the wall. 3. Install perimeter bracket at specified height according to grid diagrams on page 4 to match your grid ceiling. Perimeter bracket is indended to support the weight of the fixture and needs to be proprly fastended and anchored to the wall. 4. Slide perimeter all-thread to match the spacing of the perimeter bracket on the wall. 5. If joining multiple sections together, insert joining bracket into middle slot on both connecting sections and proceed to tighten set screw. 6. Raise fixture from below so that sliding all-thread slides through perimeter bracket and secure using 1/4-20 nut. 7. Locate building conduit (by others) and connect to power supply and splice power connections within enclosure per submitall drawing electrical callouts. 8.Push wires into enclosure and secure lid onto power supply enclosure unit using supplied screws. 9. HYLYTR MULTI-GRAZER WALL MOUNT Page 7 of 11 DISCONNECT power at fuse box before installing fixture. Mount Fixture to Wall/Surface 1. The fixture is assembled to recieve power from the LEFT (see diagram) arm's junction box. This junction box is designed to be secured to the side of a stud. 2. The ARM MOUNTING PLATE attaches to the JBOX2 FACE PLATE via screws provided. 3. This ARM MOUNTING PLATE is hidden behind the provided COVER PLATE which is secured via velcro. 4. The RIGHT side arm mounting plate is to be screwed directly into the wall with appropriate backing and support. 5. If not already attached, slide the shroud accessory through the middle slot channel of fixture body and achor shroud using provided adhesive. 6. Endcaps are secured onto fixture using #6-32 set screws. Connecting Building Power to Remoted Power Supply 1. Remove lid from power supply enclosure and place aside. 2. Located building power wires and feed through a conduit (provided by others). Terminate conduit to 7/8" KO located on the power supply enclosure. 3. Splice and connect the power wires to power supply within enclosure per submitall drawing electrical callouts. 4. Make electrical connection to fixture between power supply enlcosure and JOBX2 using provided connectors which are color coded. 5. Double check electrical connections and re-secure lid to power supply enclosure. 6. Power on. This canopy is designed to mount to a 4" JBOX (supplied by others). 3. Locate suspension cable and bracket (refer to project submital drawings for mounting distances). 4. Install cable suspension hardware to surface (examples of surfaces located on next page). Please note that cable suspension hardware must be supported with proper backing. 5. Locate powerfeed canopy and install canopy bracket to building JBOX. 6. Locate remoted power supply enclosure assembly and connect building conduit (by others) to 7/8" KO after removing lid. 7. Make electrical connections within enclosure according to project submital drawing electrical call outs to building power. 8. Locate powercord on opposite side of the power supply enlosure and run cable to fixture JBOX. 9. Make electrical connections within JBOX according to project submital drawings. Be careful to avoid pinching conductors and possibly damaging product. SHROUD ACCESSORY DETAIL 10. After ensuring proper connections, re-secure power enclosure lid. 11. If not already on, slide appropriate shroud accessory through middle slot of fixture body and achor shrouds using the supplied ahesive. 12. Power on.
