Built on green foundations Booking at Carrochan means your money is supporting the National Park and gives the people that you bring here the experience of exceptional environmentally sustainable design. The building is innovative in the choice of materials and sustainable technologies and has achieved an Excellent BREEAM rating due to the environmental considerations during construction and operations. Carrochan is the largest building in the UK with a locally sourced green timber structure. The expected carbon footprint of Carrochan is less than half* of a conventional building. Over 2,500 sheep donated their winter coats for the sheep s wool insulation in the walls and ceilings. Heating supplied by wood chips in our biomass boiler. Our meeting room chairs are made from recycled car batteries & seat belts. *80 tonnes as compared to 200
National Park on the doorstep With the National Park right outside our front door, locating at Carrochan means you can walk straight out into stunning landscape, to get a breath of fresh air during a 10 minute break or for organised activities. There are a wide variety of outdoor and indoor activities on offer in the National Park. We can put together bespoke packages* for you that combine meeting room hire with one of our team building packages. Just ask our bookings team about the many options on offer. Catering with Local Produce The National Park has an amazing natural larder and is becoming renowned as a foodie destination, with 44% of people now citing food as one of the reasons they come here to visit. Our Rooms & Suites Our two suites provide the perfect spaces for your training, event or meeting for up to 100 delegates. Situated on Carrochans first floor the suites can be configured in various ways to suit your requirements. Both suites have access to a reception/break out/ vestibule area perfect for lunching. Everything you need for meetings, training and events. Smaller than our two suites, the Breadalbane room is ideal for shorter meetings or as a break-out space when hiring one of our suites. On top of that, our front-of-house team will be on hand to assist ensuring your event runs smoothly.
