Step 7 In the glove compartment cavity, remove the vehicle mm bolt (). Secure the Brake Controller bracket assembly () to the vehicle using the existing stud (), the supplied M8 Nut () and M8 Washer (). Secure the Brake Controller bracket assembly () in place using the previously removed mm bolt (). Important Refer to workshop manual for recommended torque specifications. *ECU not shown on bracket Step 8 Connect the supplied Cat Cable () to the Brake Controller ECU (). Step 9 Route the Cat Cable () along the dash towards the gear shift area and secure to the existing vehicle harness using the supplied Cable Ties. Remove the RHS v socket () on the gear shift surround trim. Secure the unused connector behind the RHS v socket () in the vehicle using the supplied Cable Ties. Important Ensure the Cat Cable () is secured away from any moving parts or sharp edges. FI7 Page 0 of
Step 0 Insert the supplied Switch Insert () into the vacant cavity on the gear shift surround trim (). Insert the Electric Brake Switch () into the Switch Insert () from behind. Fasten the supplied Nut () locking the Electric Brake Switch () to the Switch Insert (). Torque the Nut () to 0.8Nm. Rotate the shaft () full anti-clockwise and fit the knob () to the shaft () with 0" pointing upwards as shown below. Route the Cat Cable (7) to the gear shift surround trim () and connect to the Electric Brakes Switch () from behind. Step The following step is for the Colorado only, for a Colorado 7 proceed to Step. In the LHS rear wheel area, unfasten the three T0 torx screws () and remove the mudguard (). Remove the four T0 torx screws (), six scrivets () and the 0mm bolt (). Remove the wheel arch lining (). Proceed to step. Step The following step is for the Colorado 7 only, for a Colorado refer to Step. In the LHS rear wheel area, unfasten the three T0 torx screws () and remove the mudguard ().
