/ and 4/ multi-way valves; servo assisted; DN 4; flow rate: l/min.; /8, legris ø 6 mm port connections Advantages / Benefits Optimised system solutions due to high level of modularity Compact design with high flow rate Long service life even with non-lube conditions Manual override Expandable modular assembly Various options for the service ports and 4 High switching reliability Fieldbus compatible Wide range of accessory cable plugs with suppressor etc. Low weight Design/Function Applications is a highly reliable diaphragm actuated poppet valve, available in / and 4/ options. The modular valve assembley consists of the valve body with the servo-diaphragm actuated poppets and seats, to which the various end connector modules are attached. The body and valve internal parts are made of high quality thermoplastic, the return spring of Stainless Steel. A 6 mm rocker DC solenoid valve Type 606 is used as pilot. Tag connectors are used for electrical contact (to DIN 4 650 Form C) with the cable plug Type 506 or with female connectors on the common electronic modules available from Burkert. Manifold assemblies for individual valve wiring (tag connectors facing the front) or common wiring (tag connectors facing the rear) can be built up. Common wiring modules can be connected by fieldbus, multi-pole or common earth/neutral modules. The manifolds are made up with pneumatic modules Type MP05 which are interlocked. can be piloted by an impulse version of Type 606. The operation has to be done through external pole reversal (e.g. PLC). The advantages of the impulse version are functional safety in case of power failure, saving of energy and low heat generation. It is applicable for switching systems with impulse control. Fluids Lubricated and unlubricated air, neutral gases. Applications Control valves (single valves, valve blocks) for pneumatic linear and rotary actuators (actuator systems).
