System designation: TO > Single routing DT > Double routing AS > Face fix fittings Note about surfaces fittings are electrolytically zinc-plated, passivated and sealed with wax. We guarantee that the surface protection conforms to RAL-RG 607/3 and RAL-RG 607/13 quality assurance for tilt-and-turn fittings. The wax seal allows for far superior protection against corrosion than stipulated improved sliding properties more even surfaces TRICOAT fittings The TRICOAT surface coating was specially developed for applications in which electrolytic zinc-plating of surfaces no longer offers sufficient protection against corrosion. TRICOAT surfaces are only available in a light grey colour. For sash rebate widths of more than 1000 mm*, first inset the centre lock 3 or the horizontal tilt-lock. Pay attention to the distance from the rebate edge (refer to Fig. 1). 2.1. Mount the tilt-lock first on variable handleheight drive-gears. 3. Crop and mount the rebated scissor stay 4. For sash rebate heights of more than 1000 mm*, first insert the centre lock 5. Pay attention to the distance from the rebate edge (refer to Fig. 1). Attach the corner hinge to the supporting bracket and turn the bayonet fastening through 90 with a TORX-20 tool (refer to Fig. 3). 3.1. TOPF scissor stay - attach the support arm in the correct position and tighten until the support arm stops at the second notch (refer to Fig. 2; the catch is broken off when the sash is lifted). 4. Insert the corner support 6, line up against the rebate edge and screw to fasten. For continuous fittings grooves, use corner support spacer bars. Predrill with a 3 mm drill for fixing to the rebate edge. 5. The centre-fixings (preset centred cam-fixing) are activated upon operating the fittings for the first time. 6. The sash lifter on the drive-gear must be activated by rotating it outwards. * An SRW and SRH of 1000 mm is a recommendation; adhere to the profile manufacturers specifications! 12 Order numbers and fittings dimensions are available in the short catalogue

Order numbers and fittings dimensions are available in the short catalogue 13

Scissor-stay limiter For an SRH of less than 600 mm, a scissor-stay limiter must be installed. Depending on the different rebate edges, this can be necessary even for SRHs of less than 800 mm. Hinging the sash - DT / AS 1. 2. Hang the sash onto the pivot post at an opening angle of 90. 1. Place the corner hinge inside the scissorstay hinge and close the sash (do not bolt). 2. Insert the scissor-stay hinge pin and depress until the spring snaps into place. 3. A visual check of the position of the scissor-stay hinge pin is absolutely necessary (refer to Fig.)! Installing the sash fittings components Fig. 1 Fig. 2 2 detail A (see page 52) 5 1 3 6 4 5 1. Crop and install the half-round corner element 6 on the hinge side (only for an SRH of more than 1000 mm on the hinge side). Pay attention to the distance from the rebate edge (refer to Fig. 2 and 3). 2. Install the 5 corner connector (SRH more than 1000 mm). 3. Crop the horizontal tilt lock or corner element for round and angled windows 4 at the bottom and screw to fasten (refer to Fig. 2 und 3). 4. Adjust the corner element for angled windows 1 to fit the inclination angle and screw into place! 5. Crop and mount the T&T drive-gear 3. PLEASE NOTE: Only T&T drive-gears with sash lifters may be used. For drive-gear drill-holes, refer to the single-sash window. 6. Crop and mount the scissor stay 2. PLEASE NOTE: Refer to the table (Detail A) for correct positioning of the stay guide. Scissor-stay hinge drilling Maximum routing is done at 50. If the angle is reduced, the routing depth (4 mm) also decreases. Make sure that the profile allows for routing at this angle! Assembly of sash and frame Fig. 3 +30 15 15 to +30 Use the routing jig without changing it! Application of the scissor-stay routing jig for angled windows (see Fig. 3): The routing jigs can be used for angles between -15 and +30. For windows with an inclination angle of more than 30, remove the locating block and mark the dimension as shown in Fig. 1 or 2 (page 54), or use the stick-on jig provided. Please note! The routing jigs have a yellow block. If the window construction does not exactly permit this clearance, do not compensate for this tolerance by removing the block! Use spacer bars for this purpose. Strikers need to be positioned on the angled part. For strikers on the bottom horizontal and drive-gear side, refer to the single-sash window jig. For the hinge-side striker - position the centre lock jig at the bottom next to the pivot post, insert the striker with horizontal bracket and screw to fasten. Pivot post: For pivot post drill-holes, refer to the instructions for the single-sash window. Use the drilling jigs for the respective TO or DT pivot post.
