The space configuration must be quickly be transformable and adaptable to the needs of the moment. With appropriate furniture, one space can accommodate many teaching orientations. Movement We must integrate more controlled movement in the school. It is only with sufficient movement that children can ensure healthy posture and oxygen flow to the brain. The best working position is continual change. Dynamic furniture Dynamic furniture allows for varied positions and nondisruptive movement. By contrast, many traditional chairs/ desks do not allow for a student to alternate positions, resulting in what has become known as the sitting trap.
