Remove contents from box, verify if all parts listed are present and free from damage. Carefully read and understand all instructions before attempting installation. CARE INSTRUCTIONS REGULAR WAXING IS RECOMMENDED. DO NOT USE ANY TYPE OF POLISH OR WAX THAT MAY CONTAIN ABRASIVES. STAINLESS STEEL PRODUCTS CAN BE CLEANED WITH MILD SOAP AND WATER. STAINLESS STEEL POLISH SHOULD BE USED TO POLISH SMALL SCRATCHES. GLOSS BLACK FINISHES SHOULD BE CLEANED WITH MILD SOAP AND WATER. PG-1
2. Start installation at the driver side. Locate under the vehicle and remove the bumper support bar by removing the two bolts on one side and the one bolt on the other side of the bar. Figure 1 & 2 FIGURE 1 FIGURE 2 PG-2
3. Locate the mounting location on the frame for the driver side bracket (item 2). The bracket fits around the front body mount near where the bumper support bar was removed. Remove the two flange nuts and mount the brackets using the same flange nuts. Figure 3 Do not fully tighten at this time. 4. Follow steps 2 and 3 for the passenger side. FIGURE 3 (PASSENGER SIDE SHOWN) 5. Using a body saw or sharp knife, trim the lower plastic valance to allow the bull bar brackets to mount to the inside of the mounting brackets. 6. Remove the bumper filler panel between the front bumper and the grille by removing the two bolts on each side located in the wheel well and carefully pulling down and out on the valance panel. Figure 5 7. Trim foam tape and apply to the back of the upper support brackets (item 4 & 5) where they would touch the front bumper. Figure 6 FIGURE 5 FIGURE 6 8. Install the upper support strap brackets using the existing hole in the top of the bumper. Install using (1) M10 button head cap screw (item 13), (2) M10 flat washers (item 14), (1) M10 lock washer (item 15), (1) M10 hex nut (item 16), per bracket. 9. With assistance install the Contour Bull Bar (item 1) to the mounting brackets (item 2 & 3) using (2) M12 button head cap screws (item 6), (4) M12 flat washers (item 7), (2) M12 lock washers (item 8), and (2) M12 hex nuts (item 9) per bracket. Figure 8 Do not fully tighten at this time. FIGURE 8 10. Attach the upper support straps (item 4 & 5) to the Contour Bull Bar (item 1) using (1) M10 button head cap screw (item 10), (1) M10 flat washers (item 12), (1) M10 lock washer (item 11), per bracket. 11. Level and adjust Contour Bull Bar and tighten all hardware at this time. 12. Torque all M10 hardware to 30-35 ft-lbs, and M12 hardware to 50-55 ft-lbs. 13. Re-attach bumper support bars the opposite way they were removed. Note: bumper support bars are feed through top opening in mounting brackets. Figure 10 FIGURE 10 14. Re-attach bumper fill panel the opposite way it was removed.
