DIRECTIONS Travelling East from Saskatoon on Hwy 16 turn right

DIRECTIONS Traveling on Highway 16 turn South onto Highway 2 towards Watrous. Turn West onto last gravel road immediately BEFORE the Mosaic potash mine. (approximately 500 meters before mine entrance). Follow gravel road 3 km until you see NSC Minerals site access on your left. ** Note There is no NSC Minerals site access through the potash mine security.

ARRIVAL PROCEDURE Upon arrival, stop at posted clean out area to open tarps and clean out trailers, if necessary. Turn CB to Channel 7. Turn VHF to LAD Channel 1 Announce Empty truck coming into the plant. Wait for instructions to pull onto the scale FACING the main office for initial weigh in.

Scale In, Turn Around & Load. Once scaled in use the space directly in front of the scale and main office to turn around and pull back onto the scale to load now facing north. Scale operator will provide directions over the radio and will load your truck.

TRUCK LOADING PROCEDURE Once loaded to the desired weight wait for paperwork and instructions before leaving site.

US BOUND TRUCKS To comply with our obligations for the US Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) and the Canadian Partners In Protection (PIP) programs, all US bound trucks will be subject to inspection prior to loading.

TRUCK LOADING PROCEDURE Once you have paperwork completed, tarp up the trailer in the yard, not on the scale. There is no tarping allowed on our scale. Trucks must tarp up or close lids before leaving NSC Minerals yard.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE AT YOUR DESTINATION Be sure to phone ahead to the customer to arrange unloading at the destination. Do not unload unless the customer is present or unless you have the consent of the customer to unload unattended. Make sure to get the customer s signature on the paperwork after unloading, or indicate unattended delivery. Leave a copy of the paperwork for the customer. If a customer asks you to divert the load to another destination, please make sure NSC is aware of this request before diverting the load.

WHEN YOU ARE UNLOADING Be aware that salt sheds have strict environmental requirements. It is not acceptable to leave salt outside of the shed; if salt happens to be tracked through the yard it must be reported immediately to the customer and to NSC.

Call NSC and the customer to report the spill immediately. Try to contain the spill to prevent further environmental damage - if it is safe to do so. IF THERE IS A SPILL

HAVE A SAFE TRIP!
