1 Overview 2013
Important network developments in 2013 Hauts de France II pipe New pipe to prepare the future connection of Dunkirk LNG terminal Cuvilly station Station upgrading to prepare the future connexion to Dunkirk terminal Cuvilly station Set up of a new compressor following the Opens season on Taisnières H + New Hauts de France II pipe = + 50 GWh/d on Taisnières H (from 590 GWh/d to 640 GWh/d since 1st of December 2013) Chazelles station Set up of a new compressor following the Opens season on Midi : Entry : + 175 GWh/d (from 80 GWh/d to 255 GWh/d since 1st of April 2013) Delivery : + 65 GWh/d (from 330 GWh/d to 395 GWh/d since 1st of April 2013) Cerville station New interconnexion station which give more flexibility when the Nord Est pipe between Obergailbach and Cerville is in maintenance
GRTgaz efforts to keep your North to South transfer possible at the beginning of October From 03/10 to 11/10, GRTgaz has realized: The installation of a new high efficient counting system on Beauce pipe West Parisian pipe repair between Villiers le Bel et Beynes We have implemented, as early as July, a new planning maintenance for this period because of the high restrictions on North to South link Exceptional weekend work hours for regional team Gas booster implemented on Saturday New configurations network to reduce the impact on capacities Some maintenances postponed : Security tests at Etrez station and works on Centre Est pipe To sum up: 2.2 TWh released during 9 days so nearly 250 GWh/d additional capacities for North to south link and Sud Atlantique storage. Less constraint for shippers => a low spread North/South In 2014, Bourgogne pipe will also be equipped by the new high efficient counting system in September => we have applied a similar planning in anticipation 3
Exceptional high flows in Obergailbach in April From mid-april to the end, we have operated maintenances on Cuvilly for the new compressor implementation and repairs on Lorraine II pipe => Impact on Dunkirk, Taisnières H and Obergailbach capacities The assumptions on Obergailbach flows were too low compared to the reality => Re-evalution, at the beginning of April, of the minimum capacity available 4
April 2013 : new tariff => new maintenance indicators Objective : More readable and easily understandable Previous indicators Reduced capacity available Conf PTC - Conf PTC + Conf PTC - 60 days Conf PTC + 60 days New indicators Available capacity rate Firm capacity variation Firm capacity variation (60 days) Example : North to South link in 2013 5
2013 : a year of continued reliability The works schedule published at the beginning of the year was closely followed in 2013. Compared to the last years, 2013 publication still has a good level of precision. February Maintenance Schedule is reliable 2007 12.26% 2008 2.35% 2009 2.35% 2010 2.28% Rate of firm variation capacity (PIRs and North to South link) 2011 3.52 % 2012 2.66% 2013 1.20% 6
