POTATO TECHNOLOGY BEET TECHNOLOGY VEGETABLE TECHNOLOGY MATRIX 1200/1800 Advanced 12- or 18-row mechanical precision seed drill designed for the planting of beet, canola and chicory.
Mechanical precision seeder MATRIX 1200 / 1800 Special features at a glance: ISOBUS electronic control Dual marker arms compact folding design for road transport Mulch seed or in line seeding two optional versions to suit all purposes Low drop height of only 2.5 cm for precise seeding into the seed furrow 2
Mounting frame stable and hydraulically foldable for 3 m road transport width and quick setup time 10 l seed hopper for 1.5 beet seed units, ensures high output with less downtime Electrical single row drive for variable seeding distances, Clever Planting and Section Control Seeding unit designed for accuracy with precise depth control at high speeds. - mechanical (90 kg) or optional hydraulic pressure control 5 kg heavy, rubber covered cast iron pressure roller for optimum seed covering; height- and sideflexing Caster wheel for all soil conditions choice of 4 types: - fingertip press wheel for unviversal use - monoflex wheel for light soils - V Farmflex wheel for heavy soils - rear covering rollers especially suitable on loess (silty / loamy) soil 3
Flexible use 1 Mulch or in line seeding The MATRIX seeding unit comes with two front disc coulters and wide Farmflex depth control wheels for use when Mulch seeding (1) helping to reduce soil erosion as standard. A set of wheels for conventional in line seeding (2) are available as an option. 2 High accuracy planting Seeding unit The seeding unit is supplied with an electrical drive as standard (3) ensuring high seeding precision even during high speed drilling of 12 km/h. The electronic drive allows for use of Section Control und Clever Planting technology. 3 4
1 Simple setting Depth and share pressure Simple depth adjustment in 0.5 cm steps via an eccentric bolt system (1). 2 3 Share pressure is a tool free adjustment of four steps (2). A maximum mechanical pressure of up to 90 kg can be selected. Infinitely hydraulically adjustable share pressure (controlled from the tractor cab) can also be specified as an option (3). 4 5 Maximum emergence Caster wheels To realise the highest emergence and yield under various conditions, four different caster wheels are available for the MATRIX: 6 7 - fingertip press wheel for universal use (standard) (4) - Monoflex wheel suitable for medium to light soils (5) - V-Farmflex wheel for heavy or sandy soils (6) - rear covering rollers especially suitable on loess soil (7) 5
Minimum drop height Full cellular wheels Canola The die-cast aluminium body contains a full cellular wheel for the precise singling of each seed with a minimum drop height of just 2.5 cm. This ensures planting accuracy and very gentle seed handling. Beet High capacity Seed boxes 1 Dust proof seed boxes with a 10 litre capacity can hold approximately 1.5 units of beet seed. A simple scale (1) inside each seed box enables an exact and even partial fill when needed. Clear access allows for easy filling (2). Cleaning of the units is simple, via the tool free spring loaded flap (3), also allowing quick changes between seed types. 2 3 6
Everything at a glance Operator terminal CCI 100 1 The ISOBUS compatible CCI 100 touchscreen terminal allows a simple and clear operation of the MATRIX. Clever Planting (1) for closer seeding distance in the rows next to the spraying track is standard. The Section control (2b) is available as an option, it reduces the expensive seed output and minimizes digging losses whilst harvesting. A GPS system at the tractor is required in conjunction with the Section Control. The MiniView function (3) shows the machine functions as well as the Section Control at a glance. It is not necessary to skip pictures at the terminal to get an overview of the whole machine. 2 a b 3 7
Compact transport Hydraulic folding main frame The MATRIX has a strong, hydraulic folding main frame for quick field set up. The frame is folded from the comfort of the tractor cab. The machine width is kept under 3 m for road transport (row width 45 or 50 cm). Two mechanical locking pawls ensure secure road transport, with a simple pull wire for unlocking. 8
Precision seeding Hydraulic lane marker The folding of the machine and lane marker controls are operated by a double acting control unit. The lane marker fold in board (1) to avoid damages during transport. The concave discs are infinitely height adjustable to adapt to all situations. Build in break back protection avoids damage in the case of collision. 1 Targeted placement Granulate castor The optional granulate castor are designed for the precision placement of all granules. Three rows are supplied by a single hopper, with each outlet positioned in front of the intermediate press wheel. The hoppers fold down for secure road transport. 9
