7 Quick Start Guide 1. Remove by the handle from the hard carry case. 2. The battery inside the must be charged before use. Note battery must be charged for 8 hours or until the red light on the mains adaptor turns green. 3. Connect the lithium-ion battery charger to the wall socket. 4. Connect the lithium-ion battery charger DC plug into the charging socket. (See pg4, Fig 1) Note Only use the mains battery charger supplied. 5. Wait for charging indicator LED to change from red to green. 6. Disconnect the lithium-ion charger from the before turning it on. 7. Turn the on by switching the power/mode button to the desired setting. (See pg4, Fig 1&3) Note When in night mode LED infrared intensity will need to be changed depending on the distance of the area that requires illumination. 8. Point the toward your desired area. 9. To get the most from the, keep the infrared LED lens cover clean and free from debris. Use a dry camera lens or micro fiber cloth to wipe excess dust from the lens areas. Use a clean damp cloth to gently clean the housing and lenses. Avoid getting any liquid into any of the sockets.! Caution Be careful when cleaning the infrared lens cover. Do not clean too vigorously as this can damage the lens cover. The is not water proof (only water resistant). Always cover the equipment in rainy conditions. Operating Instructions To get the best results from your follow these instructions. Day Use The is designed for daylight use as well as lowlight or zero light conditions. 12 Operating Instructions cont. Attaching additional power supply. An additional Lithium-ion Battery Pack can be purchased to allow longer usage between recharging. Note Always fully charge the additional battery when new as the battery is supplied in a discharged condition. 1. Connect the battery to the socket located at the base of the s handle. (See pg5, Fig 4) 2. Stow the battery securely ensuring no excess pressure or tension is placed on the battery cable or socket. 3.
