The 2019 NHMA National Rally Sturt Reserve, Murray Bridge, South Australia EXHIBITOR INFORMATION & REGISTRATION
The 17th NHMA National Rally 2019 Murray Bridge, South Australia March 22nd-24th 2019 May 2018 Hello Fellow Enthusiasts, In 2009, five South Australian clubs came together, producing one of the best national vintage machinery shows to date. Every second year the National Historic Machinery Association s National Rally is held, each time being in a different state. 2009 saw over 500 exhibitors with over 1200 displays of yesteryear including vintage engines, machinery, cars, trucks, tractors, boats and much more, taking up the entire riverfront at Sturt Reserve, Murray Bridge. Over 20,000 people attended, including visitors from the Netherlands, USA, UK, New Zealand and South Africa. Now five South Australian clubs have come together to host the 17th NHMA National Rally in 2019. With organizing well underway, and the overwhelming response from our members, we anticipate the 2019 rally to be just as big if not bigger. This event will include exhibits from all over, both nationally and internationally. The river backdrop is the perfect setting for any event and proves time and time again a successful and magnetic attraction for visitors and locals alike, it also allows paddle steamers and steam launches to return to Murray Bridge, a rare sight at any national rally. Murray Bridge is located less than an hour from Adelaide and is situated on the Princes Highway, the main road transport link between Adelaide and Melbourne. The Murray River is a picturesque site of house boats, paddle-steamers and happy, relaxed people. Sit back and relax while observing the beauty of this natural wonder. Sturt Reserve is situated on the banks of the mighty Murray River. The city services a farming area including dairy, pigs, chickens, cereal crops and vegetables (including "stay crisp lettuces"). Just out of Murray Bridge there is a new open range zoo and breeding ground for arid and grassland animals at the Monarto Zoological Park. Many species of animals can roam this 1000 hectare site. The 2019 National Rally Committee are very proud to host the NHMA National Rally at Murray Bridge in 2019. We welcome you to the rally and will do our very best to make it a safe and memorable event. Yours Sincerely, Maclean Kidd (Chairman)
