PARTS LIST A. BOTTOM B. MIDDLE C. TOP D. TREE STAND NUMBER OF PERSONS RECOMMENDED FOR ASSEMBLY: 2 SKU 68607 7.5 Signature Balsam Fir 2114 TIPS STANDARD STAND UL 1200 LIGHTS MAX DIAMETER 63 HARDWARE A. EXTRA BULBS AND FUSES QUANTITY EACH 18 PCS 1. Unpack: Carefully remove the contents from the carton and keep the carton for future storage. Some sections of the tree may be heavy and assistance may be required. Remove any outer foam wrapping from the tree and its branches (See Fig. 1A). 2. Basic Assembly Steps: Fig. 1A CAUTION: Two people may be needed to balance and assemble tree s upper sections. Please use a ladder, if needed, and follow all ladder safety instructions. 2.1 Open the carton and take out all the contents. All contents that are listed in the section above on this page should be enclosed. Locate the metal tree stand and assemble it by separating the legs of the stand to form an X shape (See Fig 2A). Insert each of the three screws into the holes on the stand s middle section, being sure that screws do not extend so far as to interfere with installation of the tree pole. Place tree stand in desired location. Fig. 2A

2.2 Locate Tree Section A and remove the protective caps that are on the top and bottom of the pole (they can be replaced when you re-pack your tree). Insert Tree Section A into the tree stand. Make sure the pole is firmly inserted into the stand, and then turn all three screws until contact is made with the pole. If Section A is not sitting straight, then simply loosen the screws, adjust tree pole, and retighten the screws. All the branches are connected to the tree s center pole by metal hinges (See Figure 2). Remove the packing strap that is around the tree section and allow the branches to fall into place. 2.3 Locate Tree Section B and insert into the top of Tree Section A. Make sure section B is seated securely into the top of section A. Remove the packing strap that is wrapped around this tree section, same as you for Section A. Allow the branches and leaves to fall into place. 2.4 Locate Tree Section C and insert into the top of the Tree Section B. Make sure section C is seated securely into the top of section B. Remove the packing strap that is wrapped around this tree section, same as you for Section B. Allow the branches and leaves to fall into place. 3. Light Set and Power Connection: 3.1 Your tree is lighted with Commercial grade miniature lights that are strung on the tree at the factory. Because your tree is adorned with 1200 lights, to avoid overload of fuses within the tree, each section with the exception of the Tree Top section is strung into a separate TREE SECTION EXTENSION CORD that is 8' in length. This 8' is to allow you to drop this cord down to the bottom of the tree so it can plug into a power strip or multi tap extension cord. For your convenience, each of these TREE SECTION EXTENSION CORDS has a built in foot pedal on/off switch so you can turn each section on and off with a tap of your foot. Please note: Tied to the plug of each of these extension cords is a red tag (see attached photo) which says "Please Plug Into Electrical Wall Outlet Only". This means that you should plug each TREE SECTION 8' EXTENSION CORD either into a wall outlet, or into a power strip. This tag is trying to prevent someone from plugging one TREE SECTION EXTENSION CORD into another TREE SECTION EXTENSION CORD (this will blow a fuse in the extension cord). 3.2 Your tree will include 2 foot pedals that will then plug into the wall or power strip. This will allow ease of turning your lights on and off.

Unplug the extension cord plugs from electrical outlet on the wall. Take off all of your ornaments and tree decorations before packing your tree back into its storage boxes. Starting from the top, gently lift off each section. Each section should be packed away in the carton that it came in. Each tree section should be turned upside down and then carefully press branches toward center pole for easier placement into the storage box. Carefully place the tree in its box and tape it shut. DO NOT STORE TREE IN A DAMP AREA OR IN AN AREA WHERE THE TEMPERATURE EXCEEDS 100ºF. 1. This is for decorative use only - do not immerse in water or expose to heat. Keep away from fire. 2. Please use water only for cleaning purpose. STORAGE OF YOUR TREE 3. When not in use, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sun light. 4. When the remote control has malfunctioned, please remove the power strip from the receiver and plug the power strip directly into the wall. THE FOLLOWING STEPS WILL HELP MAKE YOUR TREE LOOK MORE REALISTIC 1. Light tree one section at a time as described in assembly instructions, so you can easily identify any bulbs that may be dislodged. Push any loose bulbs back into their sockets. 2. Separate the branch tips to form a V shape and fluff the needles. Make sure each tip is spread out and no two branches are touching each other. For best access to branches, shape each section prior to adding the next section as described in the initial assembly instructions. You may want to wear cotton gloves when fluffing needles to avoid scratches and skin irritation. 3. Starting with the bottom row, position the branches parallel to the floor. Angle the tips slightly upward like they are growing towards the sun. With each successive row, make the upward angle of the branches more pronounced. Position inner tips to hide the center of the tree. 4. Arrange the uppermost section of the tree so that the tips are evenly spaced and pointing upward. 5. Step back and review the tree. Adjust branches and tips as necessary to give the tree a fuller appearance (The tree may be shape differently (upswept /downswept /etc.) pending on one s preference.)

TROUBLE SHOOTING TIPS 1. If entire tree lighting does not light, make sure power strip cords are securely inserted in a working wall outlet. 2. If an entire section of the tree does not light, please review following actions: a. Check that all plugs within the tree are securely connected. b. Check fuse in power strip to determine if it may need replacement. Caution: Note that a blown fuse indicates an electrical overload or electrical short circuit. If the fuse is blown, unplug power strip from outlet. Also unplug any additional strings or products may be attached to the power strip. Replace the fuse following manufacturer instructions with proper fuse rating. If the replacement fuse blows, a short circuit may be present and the product should be discarded. c. Check fuse in plug connection on end of each light string.(see section on replacing plug fuses in this document). 3. If some individual lights do not light up, it may be due to becoming dislodged from the socket during assembly. Note those not lit up; check for looseness and push any loose bulbs gently back into their socket. If they still do not light up, try a replacement light bulb (supplied by manufacturer) and follow directions in section describing how to replace light bulbsportant BASIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS When using electrical products, to avoid risk of fire burns, personal injury and electrical shock, basic precautions should always be followed as stated below: READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 1.
