Certificate of CE Conformity Date: Machine Model: Description: Multi-Mount Hitch Adaptor Serial Number: I hereby certify that the machine detailed hereon conforms to European Directives 89/392EEC as amended 91/368EEC 93/44EEC 93/68EEC. Signed:... (Quality Manager)

Multi-Mount Operator s Instructions Introduction Congratulations on purchasing this first class British designed and manufactured product. To ensure operator safety and obtain maximum service life from this machine it is essential that ALL operators read and thoroughly understand this manual. If at any time there is anything you are unsure about, the manufacturers will be pleased to help. The Multi-Mount is a modular system which may be configured to fit the following turf maintenance vehicles: Cushman Truckster John Deere Pro Gator Toro Workman This equipment is designed solely for operating the following GreenTek machinery: Aero-Quick Maxi-Brush Sarel-Roller Use in any other way is contrary to the intended use, and will not be covered by any warranty. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage or injury resulting from misuse. Compliance with the instructions in this manual is essential for safe operation. Machinery Markings Your machine carries the following information. Please quote your serial number when ordering spare parts.

Safety Warning Front weights may be necessary when operating this machine. All operators must also read and follow all instructions in the Operator s Handbook supplied with the vehicle on which it is mounted. Before Starting the Engine Check that the brakes are applied, drives are in neutral, guards are in position and intact and bystanders are clear of the machine. Do not run the engine in a building without adequate ventilation. Operating the Machine Always wear suitable protective clothing (eg, gloves, and steel toecap footwear) when operating sharp or heavy machinery. Before moving the machine, check to ensure that all the parts are in good working order, paying particular attention to tyres, steering, brakes and lights. Double check that the attachment is fitted securely to the 3 point linkage. Always observe the Highway Code both on and off the roads. Keep alert and aware at all times. Remember that some people are deaf or blind; that children and animals can be unpredictable. Keep travelling speeds low enough for an emergency stop to be effective and safe at all times. Take special care when reversing and ensure that the area behind is clear of obstructions. Remove or avoid obstructions in the working area. Leaving the Driving Seat Park on level ground. Before leaving the driving seat, stop the engine and make sure all moving parts are stationary. Apply brakes and disengage all drives. Remove the ignition key.

Slopes Take extra care when working on slopes. Local undulations and sinkage will change the general slope. Avoid ground conditions which will cause the vehicle to slide or roll over. Apply brakes before disengaging gears. Keep the vehicle completely under control when disengaging the traction clutch. Remember that the extra weight of the attachment will affect the balance and stability of your vehicle. REMEMBER: IT IS THE OPERATOR S RESPONSIBILITY TO ALWAYS ENSURE THAT THIS MACHINE IS IN SAFE WORKING ORDER BEFORE USE AND THAT CONDI- TIONS ARE SUITABLE FOR IT TO BE USED WITHOUT ENDANGERING THE OPERATOR OR OTHERS. Warning Decals The following decals are affixed to your Multi-Mount which must be obeyed at all times. Replacement decals are available free of charge from the manufacturers.

Fitting the Multi-Mount to Cushman Truckster or Toro Workman Remove the tipping box from your vehicle, and attach the Multi-Mount in its place, using the same pivot points and pins. A special spring loaded top link is provided which enables the implement to float over undulations during operation.

Multi-Mount fitted to Cushman Fitting the Multi-Mount to John Deere Pro Gator 1. Dismount the tipping box, then remove the pin from the base of the hydraulic cylinder. 2. This is the reverse cylinder bracket. 3. Fit the reverse cylinder bracket as shown. 4. Rotate the hydraulic cylinder though 180. Do not disconnect pipes. 5. Refit hydraulic cylinder as shown. 6. Attach Multi-Mount to Pro Gator as shown and connect the hydraulic cylinder.

Using the Maxi-Brush or Sarel Roller with the Multi-Mount Attach the implement to the Multi-Mount using the pins provided. Lift the implement and lock up the stand legs before operating. After use, lock down the stand legs before lowering and detaching the implement. GreenTek Maxi-Brush GreenTek Sarel Roller

Using the Aero-Quick with the Multi-Mount The slitting attachments are designed to be used working in straight lines. Lift the machine on the 3 point linkage at the end of each pass BEFORE turning and lining up for the next pass. On no account should you try to make a turn with the SLITTERS lowered into position as this could result in damage to the machine. Fit the Multi-Mount on to the turf maintenance vehicle, and the top link extension post to the Aero-Quick using the pins and clips provided.. Note extra top link extension post fitted

Attaching Aero-Quick 1. Remove the locking pins from the bottom link clasps on the Multi-Mount. 2. Reverse the vehicle up to the Aero-Quick and apply the hand brake. 3. Retract the hydraulic ram to pivot the Multi-Mount until the bottom link clasps are located around the Aero-Quick s bottom link pins, then replace the locking pins. (Fig 1.) 4. Retract the hydraulic ram further to raise up the Aero-Quick s front stand leg off the ground, then lock the stand leg fully up. 5. Extend the hydraulic ram and attach the spring loaded top link to the Aero- Quick. (Fig.2.) 6. Retract the hydraulic ram to raise the Aero-Quick off the ground and then lock up the rear stand legs. (Fig.3.) 7. The Aero-Quick is now ready for use. Uncoupling Aero-Quick 1. Park vehicle and apply handbrake. 2. Raise the Aero-Quick and lock down rear stand legs. 3. Lower the Aero-Quick to the ground until there is no tension on the spring loaded top link. 4. Detach the top link from the Aero-Quick. 5. Further retract the hydraulic ram to fully raise the front of the Aero-Quick off the ground. 6. Lower the front stand leg and lock with pin. 7. Remove the locking pins from the bottom link clasps and extend the hydraulic ram to pivot the Adaptor Frame away from the Aero-Quick. Replace the locking pins into the bottom link clasps. 8. You can now drive away, leaving the Aero-Quick parked on its stand legs, ready for use next time.
