Quality Build The Scania chassis and powertrain delivered from Europe is mated with a high quality, mass produced body at a modern, technology-rich, dedicated production facility in China, under the watchful gaze of Scania s own quality assurance teams. All components are supported by the Scania service network in Australia. Quality Powertrain The Scania powertrain is identical to that offered in Scania s existing Australian range, using either our frugal and reliable 5-cylinder 9-litre SCR engine or our more powerful 6-cylinder 13-litre SCR unit. There are Euro 5 and Euro 6 compliant options, and Scania Opticruise automated two-pedal or ZF automatic transmission options, both equipped with retarders. Quality Interior Available fully fitted ex-factory or imported empty so you can select your own choice of Australian-produced seating, the Touring caters to all needs: cloth or leather, and up to 57-seats plus the driver. The main saloon s air conditioner is supported by a specific unit for the driver, which helps to reduce fuel burn when traveling empty.
