You must read this paper! Driving safely to school, arriving on time and properly parking your vehicle are adult things to do. Student parking at MRHS should be considered a privilege and this privilege should never be taken lightly. Parking is a cooperative effort between students and school administration. Driving and parking lot safety are extremely important elements. Students who have parking privileges must adhere to all parking lot rules and regulations or their parking privileges will be revoked. Currently we have 139 student parking spaces. Parking privileges will be given first to seniors who have completed the application process by Tuesday, September 11th. On Wednesday, September 12th applications will be accepted from juniors and any seniors who missed the initial deadline. These students will be given parking privileges until availability runs out. You will then be placed on a waiting list of students that will be used as privileges become available through parking infractions. Students who lose their parking privileges will have their names added to the waiting list after their period of loss is over. Students may lose parking privileges for: excessive tardiness to school, failing to follow school parking lot rules, and using their vehicle during unauthorized times during the school day. In addition to the above, in order to continue to have parking privileges, students must maintain a valid driver s license and have their vehicle properly registered and insured at all times. The school administration reserves the right to revoke parking privileges at any time. Students must hang their parking sticker on the rearview mirror with the sticker facing the outside. The parking lot should never become an area of concern for the school administration. You are young adults and this is our school. Let us all keep it a safe place to visit each day. Let s have a great school year! Thanking you in advance for your cooperation, Patrick Dowsett Assistant Principal 9-12 352-6575 ext. 6746 pdowsett@mrsd.org Monadnock Regional Middle-High School
