INSPECT THE EQUIPMT DAILY. Inspect the equipment for worn or broken parts on a daily basis. Do not operate the equipment if you are uncertain about its condition. EQUIPMT MISUSE HAZARD. Equipment misuse can cause the equipment to rupture, malfunction or start unexpectedly and result in serious injury. HIGH PRESSURE CONSIDERATION. High pressure can cause serious injury. STARTUP - INSERT SUCTION SYSTEM () & RETURN HOSE () (IF FITTED) INTO A CONTAINER WITH THE FLUID TO BE SPRAYED - CLOSE VALVE () AND SET REGULATORS (3) AND () TO ZERO (WIND ANTICLOCKWISE), OP VALVE (5) IF FITTED. 3 - REMOVE SPRAY TIP FROM THE GUN FOR RETURNING FLUID INTO THE CONTAINER. - CONNECT AIR SUPPLY. a) IF (5) IS FITTED 5a - OP VALVE (), INCREASE REGULATOR PRESSURE (3) UNTIL PUMP STARTS TO OPERATE. 6a - WH FLUID FLOWS THROUGH HOSE () WITHOUT AERATION, CLOSE VALVE (5). 7a - OP SPRAY GUN TRIGGER UNTIL FLUID FLOWS INTO CONTAINER WITHOUT AIR, TH RELEASE TRIGGER. b) IF (5) IS NOT FITTED. 5b - TRIGGER THE SPRAY GUN AND HOLD OVER CONTAINER, INCREASE REGULATOR PRESSURE (3) UNTIL PUMP STARTS TO OPERATE. 6b - KEEP TRIGGER OP UNTIL FLUID FLOWS INTO CONTAINER WITHOUT AERATION, TH RELEASE TRIGGER. 8 - REDUCE REGULATOR PRESSURE (3) TO ZERO. 9 - APPLY SPRAY GUN SAFETY LOCK WHILE SPRAY TIP IS FITTED. 0 - INCREASE REGULATOR PRESSURE(3) UNTIL DESIRED ATOMISATION IS ACHIEVED FROM SPRAY GUN. - INCREASE REGULATOR PRESSURE () TO ACHIEVE DESIRED SPRAY FAN. SHUT DOWN - REDUCE REGULATOR PRESSURE (3) AND () TO ZERO. - TRIGGER GUN TO REDUCE SYSTEM PRESSURE. 3 - OP VALVE (5) SLOWLY IF FITTED. - APPLY SPRAY GUN SAFETY LOCK WHILE SPRAY TIP IS REMOVED 5 - TRIGGER GUN CAREFULLY INTO CONTAINER AND SURE FLUID SYSTEM IS DE-PRESSURISED. 6 - CLOSE VALVE() AND REMOVE AIR SUPPLY. 7 - APPLY SPRAY GUN SAFETY LOCK. 8 - CLEAN AS INSTRUCTED AND SOAK/CLEAN SPRAYGUN FLUID NOZZLE. AX00L AIR MOTOR MAINTANCE INSPECTION Daily 6 Month Test OPERATION Check for general air leakage and correct motor operation. Perform a pump stall test to ensure correct operation. Perform a stall test on the pump assembly. If air is escaping through exhaust, check air motor piston seal and QEV piston, replace as required. Replace air piston seal. to 36 Months (Typically 0 million pump cycles, dependent on air quality) Replace motor rod cartridge assembly. Replace poppet assemblies. Inspect and replace if required: Main valve assembly parts. Order a 50703 Seal Kit. Order a 5069 Valve repair kit. TROUBLESHOOTING SYMPTOM POSSIBLE CAUSE REMEDY No air supply. Check air and fluid supply ball valves and supply hoses. Motor will not run Air piston seal worn. Poppet assemblies are not working. Main valve assembly is not working. Replace piston seal. Switch/interchange poppet assemblies to isolate the faulty poppet, and clean or replace. Check the main valve assembly, and clean or replace. Pump runs but has excessive pulsation. QEV's are not working. Worn piston seal. Worn/failed motor rod seals. Damaged QEV. Damaged poppet assembly. Air exhaust restricted. Check for constant exhaust air when pump is not in a stalled condition. Check the QEV pistons, and clean or replace. Replace piston seal. Replace motor rod cartridge assembly.
