Summary Points Formulation for Ryde Series Point Score 2017 Ryde series points awarded on final positions of the day to Ryde members. Points bump up to allocated points based on Ryde members. No bump up for TQ. Series tie breaks decided by highest result, then 2 nd highest and so on until there is a winner. In order to receive series points there must be at least 3 Ryde members or the class will have been deemed not to qualify for that day. A paid entry qualifies for points as long as you attempt to start at least one race. ie: If there are five entries in you're class and you DNF all races you will qualify for 5th points. Shortened Race Days If the meet is called early and at least 1 round is run then full points will be allocated based on the races completed. Dropped rounds within a meeting will only come into play when either qualifying is completed or the finals are completed. TQ 2 Position Spread The number of point rounds dropped is as follows: 1 25 3 If 11-12 you drop 4. 2 22 3 If 9-10 you drop 3. 3 19 2 If 7-8 you drop 2. 4 17 1 If 5-6 you drop 1. 5 16 1 If 4 or less you do not drop any rounds. 6 15 1 7 14 1 Another point of note is that if a class has less than 50% of the total rounds that were raced qualify, 8 13 1 Then there will be no trophies awarded for this class at the end of the series. 9 12 1 So if 6 rounds were raced in the series out of 9 due to 3 rained out days, 10 11 1 then any particular class needs to have at least 3 rounds qualify, 11 10 1 meaning where 3 or more members participated in the event. 12 9 1 13 8 1 14 7 1 15 6 1 16 5 1 17 4 1 18 3 1 19 2 1 20 1 Page 1
