Wind Generating Set 1.1 Power of wind generating set will be caculated according to annual average wind speed, minimum average monthly wind speed, duration without effective wind speed as well as the power used per year. 1.2 Rated wind speed of wind generating set will be choosed according to lowest average monthly wind speed per year. 1.3 When the total power is the same, 2 or more wind generating sets are allowed to use at DC output end in series or in parallel. 2. Solar Battery Components 2.1 Peak power of solar battery componets is decided by minimum power consumption per day, sunshine hours when there is no effecitve wind speed as well as damage of the system. 2.2 Under normal conditions, minimum power of solar battery components will meet power generating capacity and its 1.8 times higher than the lowest average power consumption per day. 3. Controller 3.1 Controller must equip with wind generator charging circuit and photovoltaic charging circuit and 2 circuits must be seperated effectively.

Page 17 of 18 3.2 Maximum power of controller s wind generator charging circuit should greater than or equal to 2 times of rated output power of wind generating set. 3.3 Maximum power of controller s photovoltaic charging circuit should 1.5 times higher than photovoltaic power of the system. 4. Inverter 4.1 Output power of inverter should be calculated according to electrical equipment s type, power, and time used by user. 4.2 Rated output power of inverter should 1.2 times higher than the total power of system. 5. Battery 5.1 lead-acid storage battery and storage battery that suits for wind solar hybrid generator are preferred. 5.2 Series voltage of storage battery should match with the output voltage of wind generating set and solar battery componets. 5.3 Capacity of storage battery is decided by minimum power consumption per day, continues cloudy day, maximum no wind days and technical function of storage battery such as self-discharge rate, charge-discharge efficiency and depth of dischare. Natural Conditions & Environmental Requirements (wind solar hybrid power generating system) 1. Natural Conditions Places that annual average wind speed is higher than 3.5 m/s and total annual solar radiation amount is not less than 5 000 MJ/ m2 are recommended to use solar wind hybrid power generating system. 2. Environmental Requirments 2.1 Wind solar hybrid power generating system could work continuously and reliably under the following conditions: a)outdoor Temperature: -20 ~+40 b)indoor Temperature: 0 ~+40 c)relative Air Humidity: not more than 90%(25 ±5 ) d)above Sea Level: less than 1000m
