C hapter Directors Corner Mel & Rene McInerney Hi everyone; We sincerely hope you all had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year Chapter M had a great ending to 2015. The Lenoir City Parade was held on Dec. 3d and.gwrra and Chapter M had a good showing with 9 bikes and 16 members including Brian & Loretta Richards, from Chapter B and Don & Donna Renfro, from Chapter A2. It was a chilly night and the parade took awhile to get started, but once we hit main street it went smooth and we all had fun throwing candy to all the little children. We heard lots of compliments on how different and pretty the bikes were decorated. It was a great way to advertise GWRRA and Chapter M. After the parade, most of us went to Shoney's for a late dinner and free brownies. Our Christmas party, on Dec. 4th, had 30 members in attendance and was a wonderful success. The food was excellent, catered by Anderson Family Farms catering. We highly recommend these folks for your next event. The gift exchange was interesting as always with some serious and some gag gifts and more than a few steals. Everyone had a great time and we would like to thank all the participants for staying and helping clean -up and a big thanks to Robert Scott for securing the building at his church for our party. The Loudon City Parade was held on Dec. 12th and we had 6 bikes and 11 members participate in this one. This parade was well organized, the weather was warmer, and it was longer than the one in Lenoir City so we needed alot of extra candy for the kids along the route. We would like to thank Doug & Chelsea Roberts for entertaining the crowd with their slow speed riding skills by performing very tight circles and figure 8's the length of the parade that everyone really enjoyed. This shows why Doug is a Top Gun Champion and again an excellent way to advertise Chapter M and GWRRA. After the parade, most of us went to Vittorio's Italian Restaurant on Hwy. 72 for dinner. It was a great night that we all really enjoyed a lot. On New Years Eve we had 10 members meet at the IHOP on Lovell Rd. to welcome in the new year together. We all had our last meal, FOR 2015, with a lot of laughter and fun. As an added bonus, past members, Henry a & Ruby Rotters and their son Mike came in to meet with some of their family and we were able to enjoy a very nice visit

C hapter Directors Corner Mel & Rene McInerney with them also. Renee talked Henry into giving a very nice Blessing for the New Year as he has done in the past. We really hope that they will be able to come to some gathering this year to visit with their old friends. Thanks to every one for participating and helping to make 2015 a wonderful year for Chapter M and GWRRA. We are looking forward to more great riding in 2016. On Jan. 30th, Chapter B will be having their 22nd annual Chili Cook-off. Flyers are available on line or at the gathering. Chapter M will have our Valentines party on Feb. 6th at the Central United Methodist Church, the same location that we had the Christmas party, and Robert Scott has already reserved the building for us. Need volunteers to help with games and food. More info to follow. Remember to get your reservations in for Spring Fling in Pigeon Forge and Wing Ding in Billings Montana. Thanks again; Ride Safe; Mel & Renee Reminders: This month Chapter M will once again be selling 50/50 tickets at our gatherings instead of passing the bucket for the first two door prizes. We will still have door prizes at the end of the meeting so keep bringing in those donations. Check the calendar for the next dinner ride and chapter ride

Assistant Chapter Director James Whitener Hi Everyone Well 2016 has arrived. As we start a new year remember to ride safe. See you all at the Meeting. Ride Safe James R ider Education Bill Big Bird & Fran Harnishfeger Hi Everyone HAPPY NEW YEAR Hope everyone had a Safe and Happy New Year and didn t make too many resolutions that are impossible to keep. Here s one all of us should make. To keep our bikes or trikes in tip top shape by doing inspection, adjustments, lubricating, cleaning, and listening to the machine. Don t forget to get your Co-Rider involved, two heads are better than one as they say. That rattle or squeak could be a loose bolt maybe something is about to fall off. How many times have you seen a license plate dangling by only one bolt on a car you re following? Doing maintenance at home is better than on the side of the road. Ride Safe, Be Safe Chapter Educators Bill & Fran Harnishfeger So get out there and check it out.
