Hello Matchbox-Friends! Sorry that there was some time between the last report and this one. As you might guess I was busy let me show you what happend in the meantime. Other point is the distribution problem which effects Europe much more than the US. At least we did see some of the newer 5packs now in the stores. Also the nearly cancelled supreme Heroes wave B models found their way to the shelves and shops. Our #mymatchboxpegs campaign did help the design team in their discussions. And we all hope it will improve step by step. But it will surely work better when not only the Mattel side is pushing but as well we collectors speak to the shop managers and ask for the product to show them our needs. Supreme Heroes of course not in european stores!

Still Bali several VW T2 Restaurants to be found as well as LandCruiser now you know why they are so popular with indonesian collectors! Bali taxis are silverblue the bus on top connect cities in the inner country side for the people the turtle stil one is a tourist mover which catched my eye several times during our roundtrip.
Breaking news: We just learned that the first batch 2016 will hold the following 2015 models So two new models will appear first time a warm welcome to MB960 Malibu Marauder and the MB957 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. And also the recolor of the Alfa Romeo 4C will be a highlight in this batch as well is our beloved 1966 Dodge A100 Pickup. And I learned from my Bali trip that the Toyota Land Cruiser still has lots of followers in Indonesia. This is how #mymatchboxpegs look like on Bali! I only found 3 shops on the round trip but they had many models on pegs but most non generic have gone! Prices are around 29.900 which is about 2 Euro per model. More than in Europe esp. when you keep in mind that weighes are much lower!

Y-13-1 Santa Fe American Loco in very rare light green colour If you ever wanted to know what a light green Santa Fe looks like here is a pretty good picture of it. I bought mine in the late 80s which was high price time for rare MoY and it did cost 1000+ DM ;)
