The all-new front and rear seats incorporate the latest technologies such as climate control options to ensure a truly relaxed and comfortable ride. Details include the use of premium materials such as Oxford leather and twin-needle stitching. The cabin is also complemented by new-look door insert finishings which are enhanced further by deeply padded premium materials you ll simply want to touch. For the ultimate in comfort, optional front massage seats allow both the driver and front passenger to select individual programmes via the Touch-screen. Varying in intensity, there are five settings to choose from; each one delivers a soothing massage to improve both passenger and driver's comfort. driving technology Terrain Response with All-Terrain Progress Control Developed by Land Rover s industry-leading all-terrain specialists, Terrain Response acts as an off-road expert that reconfigures the vehicle s engine, transmission, throttle and traction settings to ensure greater off-road capability. Our proprietary system is enhanced by the addition of All-Terrain Progress Control (ATPC). This new state-of-the art technology enables drivers to set and sustain a steady speed when driving off-road. Operating like a cruise control system, it functions at very low speeds between 1,8kph and 30kph, helping the driver to maintain full concentration on steering and finding a path through obstacles. active driveline Wade sensing The Active Driveline delivers benefits in both on and off-road situations. In many on-road driving conditions, the system is able to disconnect drive to the rear of the vehicle, providing maximum two-wheel drive fuel economy. A sophisticated control strategy continuously monitors key vehicle and environmental parameters. If the requirements for four-wheel drive are met, the system seamlessly and imperceptibly reconnects that drive within 300 milliseconds. Designed to aid you when the vehicle is going through water, sensors in the door mirrors provide real-time information of water depth and presents this on the Touch-screen along with the vehicle s maximum wading capability. SUSTAINABILITY and Engines E-Capability Ingenium Diesel Land Rover s current range of vehicles already utilise a wide range of innovative and efficient technologies including intelligent Stop/Start and brake energy regeneration. Range Rover Evoque s latest engine range is just the latest testament of innovation to provide further efficiency whilst not compromising on capability. A blue EVOQUE badge on the rear of the vehicle will denote the most efficient engines of the range. The all-new Ingenium diesel engine will deliver a step change in both emissions and economy, showing an average 17 percent improvement in fuel economy and an average 17 percent reduction in CO 2 emissions over its predecessor. The 2,0 litre four-cylinder Ingenium engine will be available in two power outputs; 150PS and 180PS. There is also the option of two or four-wheel drive and a choice of six-speed manual or nine-speed automatic transmissions. Land Rover engineers have paid particular attention to reducing weight while maintaining excellent strength and high levels of refinement. The all-aluminium Ingenium engine is 20-30kg lighter than predecessors. An efficient solenoid common-rail system feeds fuel into the combustion chambers which provides precision injection with low noise levels. Added to which internal friction is reduced by 17 percent compared with the previousgeneration turbodiesel engine, boosting efficiency, smoothness and responsiveness. Not only is the new Ingenium engine substantially lighter, more fuel-efficient and more refined than its predecessor, it's also more affordable and convenient to own thanks to servicing intervals extended from 16.000 to 21.000 miles on four-wheel drive models with no impact on longevity. Driveline, Engine Performance and Fuel Economy The all-new Ingenium diesel engines are fully EU6 compliant, and coupled with lightweight all-aluminium construction, six-speed manual transmission or optional nine-speed automatic transmission (TD4), deliver greatly improved fuel efficiency and lower CO 2 emissions. The powerful Si4 engine is also fully EU6 compliant, yet has lost nothing in performance, accelerating from 0-100kph in just 7.6 seconds. All engines feature Intelligent Stop/Start technology, automatically shutting down the engine at rest when possible, and re-starting it again as soon as you lift your foot off the brake.
