The luxury market has been increasing in sales and traffic and shows no signs of slowing down. As the economy has become more stable since the recession, consumers have been willing to spend on prestigious brands, especially as many of these brands have moved downstream in an effort to capture more sales. The luxury compact crossover segment in particular has been a fast riser, with new entrants from storied brands such as the Audi Q3, Lexus NX, BMW X1, Mercedes Benz GLA, and more, all starting at price points in the low to mid $30,000s. We are also seeing more and more alternative fuel options across luxury lineups, something that should continue to expand at a rapid pace.
