Welcome to the 2 nd Annual Back to School Food Truck Fest! BE APART OF SOMETHING GREAT! General Information: The Back to School Food Truck Fest is an annual festival taking place on Saturday, Aug 6 th, 2016. The Back to School Food Truck Fest will host 5-6 local food trucks and 10 30 local non-food vendors for our community to unite and offer students around the city free school supplies in preparation for the upcoming 2016-2017 school year. Admission and School supplies will be FREE for guest. All vendors will keep all proceeds. 2016 Festival Fees: The 2016 festival/vendor fee is a non-refundable $250 fee for Food Trucks and a non-refundable $100 fee for non-food truck vendors to guarantee their participation (see cancellation policy below). A percentage of festival/vendor fees will be donated to RICH Kids Texas Non Profit to purchase school supplies for the event. Sponsorship opportunities available (see below). Email info@backtoschoolfoodtruckfest.com for details. Space Assignments: Booth locations will be determined a month prior to the festival once all accepted applications are processed. Considerations will be based on competing food and non-food categories and time of application submission. Submittal of application does not guarantee participation, and all accepted vendors will receive a confirmation email letter within two weeks of receiving the application. No payment will be processed until confirmation of acceptance. Permits: It is the vendor s responsibility to acquire all needed permits for onsite activation. Fire Extinguisher: All food trucks using propane must have a fire extinguisher. Insurance: Every participating food truck must have insurance. Freddy G s Enterprises, LLC and/or Back to School Food Truck Fest will not be responsible or liable for any damages to you, your property, or your merchandise. MUST OPERATE AT OWN RISK. Product List: Every food truck must submit menu and every non food vendor must submit a product list with application for advertisement and promotion to our general public. Donations: All vendors are welcome to donate additional funds to help buy school supplies for the event. Any amount submitted over the application/vendor fee will be used to purchase school supplies.

Ground Surface and Weather: The Back to School Food Truck Fest is an outdoor event with locations on concrete. There can sometimes be locations that are not level. Regardless of ground surface, we do require that all tents have a 25lb weight on each leg for safety in any windy weather. The Back to School Food Truck Fest will take place rain or shine, please be prepared for all kinds of weather. The event will provide 1 table and 1 chair per booth rental. Please feel free to bring your own text, table, chair, and signs. Payment: Exhibitor/Vendor payments must be received NO LATER THAN JUNE 30 th, 2016. Payments will be due once application is accepted. All checks can be made payable to Back to School Food Truck Fest. For more information, please email info@backtoschoolfoodtruckfest.com. There is an additional fee charged for credit card payments of 2.5% through Square Credit Card Processing. If you need different payment options please contact us directly. Payments and applications should be mailed to PO BOX 36, Cypress, TX 77410. Email info@backtoschoolfoodtruckfest.com for other options. Load In/Load Out: Load in for the festival will open at 7:00 am the day of event. Load out will be 3:00 pm at the conclusion of the event. All vendors must be loaded in by 10:30 am. Due to insurance and liability reasons, vendors that fail to arrive on time, may be refused entry unless otherwise communicated and NO vendor my leave until the event ends at 3:00 pm. Cancellation Policy: The Back to School Food Truck Fest, Freddy G s Enterprises, LLC, enacts a Force Majeure Clause where no party shall be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is a result of Acts of Nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane, or other natural disaster), Acts of God, Acts of War, dispute strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service and no other party will have a right to terminate this agreement in such circumstances once this contract is signed by both parties. Applicant is required to follow all rules and regulations set forth by all event, city, state and national law making organizations. Food and non-food vendors have until June 30, 2016 to cancel and receive 50% application/vendor fee refund. Cancellation after June 30, 2016 will forfeit 100% of your application/vendor fees or can be used as a credit in the future within a one year period at any Freddy G s Enterprises, LLC or Back to School Food Truck Fest events. This credit does not pertain to third party festivals that require separate fees. Responsibility to perform in compliance is solely owned by the truck or non-food vendor and noncompliance does not void above contract or festival fees.
