Getting Started With The ARMA 100 NOTE: It is important that you read the Product Liability Disclaimer before going any further in this guide. Read and understand the terms of use. Cartridge Assembly The first step is to prepare the cartridges for use in the ARMA 100. Follow the step by step instructions bel ow for assembly. Start by studying the names of the parts you will be using. Piston Install Tool Cartridge Ring Cap Bean Bag Piston Air Cylinder Step 1: Mount the piston install tool on the end of the cartridge. Step 2: Install the piston by pushing it into the install tool. Step 3: Push piston past install tool into the cartridge. Remove tool and continue to push piston until it bottoms out in cartridge. Step 4: Install bean bag, squash ball or up to nine paint ball markers. Wet squash ball to help install into cartridge. 5 Step 5: Install cap, lips of part facing out, by pushing it evenly into cartridge and packing bean bag snugly.

Step 6: Cap should look like this after assembly in cartridge. ( For cap installation with paint marker balls, see final assembly below). A new cap must be used each firing to ensure proper retention of payloads. If you do not use a new cap it may work loose with a bean bags weight. If this happens simply use some scotch tape to hold the end cap in place. When using a pepper ball with bean bag drop in pepper ball first then install bean bag then cap. Fit cap with lips facing out. Step 7: Install air cylinder into the cartridge taking care not to drop them in as they could get punctured. Step 8: Insert ring into end of cartridge. This is to retain air cylinders from falling out during loading and reloading. A new ring should be used every load to insure capturing and holding of air cylinders. Step 9: This is how installed ring should look. Take care to install ring to take up all the space between pusher and cylinders, so there is no slop. IMPORTANT: AT NO TIME HIT RING OR AIR CYLINDER, IT COULD GET PUNCTURED AND WILL SHOOT OUT OF CARTRRIDGE!!!! Note: Avoid dropping or rapping assembled cartridge Step 10: Check that assembled cartridge looks like the two samples above. Second sample is of squash ball load. Check that the end cap is installed properly for retention of payloads. 6

Ring Small Air Cylinder Sleeve Pusher This adapter kit is used to fit 12, 14 and 15 gram cylinders into the cartridge. This allows the unit to be used effectively with nitrogen or CO2 cylinders. Step 1: Install Sleeve. Step 2: Install air cylinder. Step 3: Install pusher. Step 4: Install ring. This retains the cylinder and pusher. Step 5: Cartridge assembly ready for firing should look like this. 7

ARMA 100 Loading And Firing With the cartridges already prepared follow the steps below to use your ARMA 100. 1 2 3 View 1 &2: Hold the ARMA 100 as shown and lightly depress release button with your thumb then twist open the handle in a counterclockwise motion. 4 5 6 Insert prepared cartridge, diagram 4. Make sure that it is installed until flush, diagram 5. Pointing the ARMA 100 down towards the ground snap the handle quickly clockwise to close launcher. Make sure that it is in the closed position, diagram 6. 7 - SAFETY NOT SET 8 - SAFETY SET 9 Set safety by turning thumb tab clockwise, Diagram 7 & 8. Hold on chest and pull thumb actuator back and twist clockwise into rear notch to set for firing, diagram 9. 10 11 12 Or place thumb actuator on fixed surface such as a table and push and twist into rear notch, diagram 10 & 11. To launch hold as in diagram 12. One hand belongs on the barrel and the other at rear of handle as shown. There is to be nothing in the way of the stroke of the thumb actuator as it is released. Release safety by twisting thumb tab counterclockwise, aim and release thumb actuator by pushing out from retaining notch to launch as shown in diagram 12. The best position for firing is to hold the ARMA 100 comfortably at waist level, aim and fire. 8

Cleaning and Maintenance The ARMA 100 can be used in almost any environment. Whether it is dirty, wet or muddy. This is due to the simplicity of it s design and materials it is manufactured with. This carries over in what is required for its maintenance. When ever it becomes to dirty to use or when you begin to have trouble with the cocking of the ARMA 100 follow these simple steps. Unscrew the handle from the barrel by twisting it counter clockwise until it is removed from the barrel breach assembly. Be careful to notice how the parts come apart. As you are twisting the handle you will have to depress the release button slightly to let the safety ring by it as you twist it off. Remove the thumb actuator by unscrewing it counter clockwise. Now the hammer in the handle and the firing spring will easily fall out of the handle. Be careful to notice the orientation of the long spring. One end has a smaller diameter. Wash all the parts in regular dish soap and warm water. Let the parts dry then assemble in the reverse order of how you disassembled it. Make sure that the large diameter opening end of the large spring is installed first into the handle. Next thing you need to do is get a bar of soap. Use this to rub the outside diameter of the spring and hammer. This is the only lube that is required for the working action of the ARMA 100 cocking mechanism. NOTE: Do not use any oils, lubes or solvent based products of any kind as a cleaner or lube for the ARMA 100. They will cause the cocking mechanism to become hard to operate or jam up. It also could attack the composites of the ARMA 100. 9
