CDR Vehicle List CDR Software v6.0 Important Information about Vehicle Coverage The Bosch Crash Data Retrieval Software and Hardware products support the retrieval of crash data from Airbag Control Modules (), Roll-over Sensors (ROS) and Powertrain Control Modules (PCM) installed in vehicles listed in this document as indicated by the markings in the column labeled Module. Many vehicles listed in this document include references to manufacturer specific notes which may indicate limitations in CDR product coverage. Make sure that you read the reference notes prior to determining if a vehicle is supported. This may be caused by (but not limited to) information that was not available to Bosch at the time the product was developed or, EDR retrieval may be available only on vehicles with particular options. Please contact Bosch Technical Support if you are experiencing trouble retrieving EDR data from any of the vehicles listed. Crash data is recorded for FRONTAL DEPLOYMENTS ONLY on these vehicles. 5. When downloading these modules using the provided CDR cable, plug the cable into the CDR Interface Module, apply power and wait at least 1 minute after power is applied before collecting data. Failure to do so may cause an error during download. 6. Retrieval of crash data through the vehicle's DLC connector may not be supported on some early 2008 model year vehicles of this type. For these vehicles, the CDR application will display an error message after attempting a DLC download and instruct you to connect directly to the module using the specified cable. 7. For model year 2007, some PT Cruisers may contain EDR data that cannot be read by the CDR tool 8. For model year 2009, Dodge Ram 1500 models have the capability to store pre-crash data for both deployment and non-deployment events. 9. The F00K108453 cable may be required for imaging some 2009 Ram 2500 Trucks. 10. Some early production 2011 Challenger, Durango and Grand Cherokee vehicles may not include Longitudinal & Lateral Delta-V and Angular Rate data 11. For some vehicles, EDR data imaging may only be possible while connected to a fully operational diagnostic bus through the DLC connector and not while directly connecting to the. When retrieving EDR data from this through the DLC connector, use the F-00K-108-221 PCM Adapter with the F- 00K-108-287 DLC cable to avoid possible spoliation of PCM data while the ignition key is on during the download. 5. Note: Downloading data from these s can take up to 3 minutes per pass and 9 minutes for a complete download. 6. PCM Note: This vehicle's PCM may only store 12.5 seconds of crash data. 7. If the first 3 digits of the VIN are 1GT, 2GT, 3GT, 1GD, 2GD, 3GD, 1GC, 2GC, 3GC, 1GB, 2GB, 3GB and the production sequence number (last 6 digits of the VIN) is 500000 or lower, use 02003003 cable, otherwise, use the 02003320. 8. Only vehicles equipped WITH side curtain airbags have a ROS module. You can tell if a vehicle is equipped with side curtain airbags visually either by noting if they were deployed in a crash or the B pillars are marked with the word "Airbag". Note that the CDR application will allow you to attempt to retrieve ROS data from vehicles without side curtain airbags even though the ROS module is not installed. In this case, the CDR application will display a communication error when attempting to retrieve ROS data. 9. Crash data retrieval with the ignition key OFF may not be supported on this vehicle. If you are unable to collect data with the key off, try again with the key ON. 10. For the 2006 Sport Coupe (AP) model vehicles with the RPO ALV (an option package that includes Recaro seats), the system will always report a passenger seat belt buckled status of "buckled." 11. Cadillac STS's with RPO JL7 (StabiliTrak 3.0 option) report steering angle with polarity opposite to SAE j1733 convention. 12. Certain 2000-2002 Cavalier Z24 and Sunfire GT models with a specific engine and transmission combination (both the LD9 - Gas engine, 4 CYL, 2.4L, MFI, DOHC and the MM5 - Manual 5 speed transmission) will report brake switch on/off status backwards. 13. For vehicles equipped with keyless entry systems, switch the ignition to ON with Engine OFF by pressing and holding the Lower start button (it has 2 LED indicators, "O" and "ACC") for 5-6 seconds at which time the upper LED will illuminate. 14. The 02003002 cable and 02003108 Power Booster are no longer available for purchase through Bosch. If you need this cable for a download, contact Bosch Sales or Technical Support for information about obtaining a loaner cable. 2. Does not record pre-crash data. 3. 1999 Saturn vehicle s DLC port has a non-standard wiring configuration and does not interface with the Bosch OBD II interface cable (02002837).
