BUICK CENTURY 997-00 / REGAL 99-00 6 7 8 9 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Remove the plastic trim piece to the left of the glove box and () phillips screw exposed. Unsnap the top edge of the knee bolster panel. Remove () Phillips screw from the panel. Remove the ashtray cluster and () Phillips screws from each side. Unclip the entire dash trim bezel and remove. Open doors and unsnap end caps from each side of dash. Unsnap and remove radio/instrument cluster panel. Remove () screws in order to remove radio. Continue to Tab Instructions on page.

BUICK LESABRE / PARK AVENUE 99-999 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Unsnap the climate control trim panel (from door to door) and remove () Phillips screws exposed. Pop out the a/c vents and remove () Phillips screw exposed in each vent cavity. Unclip the radio trim bezel and remove. Remove the screws securing the factory head unit and disconnect the wiring. Continue to Tab Instructions on page.

BUICK LESABRE / PARK AVENUE 000-00 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Open drivers door and unsnap and remove dash end cap. Unsnap and remove trim along center of dash. (One piece on right and one on left of wheel) Unsnap and remove radio/instrument bezel. Remove () screws in order to remove radio. Continue to Tab Instructions on page.

BUICK RENDEZVOUS 00-007 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Open center console and remove screws at front of console opening. Remove liners from cup holders and storage pocket next to cup holders, then remove screws. Unsnap and remove panel. Remove () screws from bottom of radio/climate control bezel, unclip and remove. Remove () 9/" hex head screws to remove radio. Continue to Tab Instructions on page. 6

BUICK RIVIERA 996-6 7 8 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Unsnap left side panel exposing () Phillips screw to remove. Remove () Phillips screw and unsnap right side panel to expose () Phillips screw beneath panel and remove. Unsnap underside of overhanging dash to unsnap (6) plastic rivets and remove panel. Remove () hex head screws now exposed under overhang. Unsnap bottom edge of trim bezel, then while holding overhang up, unsnap and remove trim bezel by removing any necessary harnesses. Remove () Phillips screw to remove climate control. Remove () Phillips screws to remove rear support and () 9/" hex head screws to remove radio. Continue to Tab Instructions on page. 7

BUICK ROADMASTER 99-996 6 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Unclip dash panel sides and remove. Unclip panel below steering column and remove. Remove () 7mm screws above instrument cluster. Set parking brake, turn car on, and move shifter to the lowest gear. Tilt steering wheel down then unsnap entire instrument cluster/radio panel and remove. Remove () 7mm screws to remove radio. Continue to Tab Instructions on page. 8

6 BUICK SKYLARK 996-998 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Remove (6) 9/" screws inside glove box. Under glove box and drivers knee bolster, remove () plastic panels by turning () / turn fasteners per side. Remove () 9/" screws revealed. ( per side). Unsnap panel from driver's side to passenger's side. Remove () 9/" screws to remove radio. Continue to Tab Instructions on page. 9

Unsnap and remove dash bezel. Remove () 9/" screws and remove radio. Continue to Tab Instructions on page. 0

CADILLAC FLEETWOOD FLEETWOOD BROUGHAM 990-996 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Carefully unsnap trim panel above a/c controls. Remove () 7mm screws at the top of the radio/air conditioning bezel, then unclip panel and remove. Remove () 7mm screws that hold the radio in, slide radio out, unplug the radio harnesses and remove radio. Continued on page..

CADILLAC FLEETWOOD FLEETWOOD BROUGHAM 990-996 RADIO BRACKET DISASSEMBLY Remove () 0mm nuts, () on top of the radio and () on the bottom of the radio, that hold the factory mounting brackets on. Save brackets and nuts for kit assembly. Continue to Tab Instructions on page.

CADILLAC ELDORADO 99-99 SEVILLE 99-99 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Using a panel removal tool, pry out on the radio trim ring and remove. Use extreme care when removing). Gently pry up on the ashtray/gear shifter trim bezel and remove. (CAUTION: Some models are equipped with bezels made of real wood. Remove () nuts securing the bottom of the factory head unit and disconnect the wiring. Continue to Tab Instructions on page.

6 CHEVROLET BLAZER 00-00 S-0 00-00 (WITH DOUBLE DIN RADIO) GMC SONOMA 00-00 OLDSMOBILE BRAVADA 998-00 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Remove () 9/" hex-head screws from the knee bolster panel. Pull down on the panel and remove the 9/" hex-head screws exposed on the bottom of the dash trim bezel. Remove () Phillips screw above the instrument cluster. Unclip the dash trim bezel and remove. Remove () 9/" hex-head screws securing the factory head unit and disconnect the wiring. Continue to Tab Instructions on page.

CHEVROLET CAVALIER 000-00 6 7 8 9 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Open drivers door and remove fuse panel on end of dash. Open passenger door and remove panel on end of dash. Remove () Phillips screw from each side exposed. Remove () screws from top of glove box liner. Remove () screws from the top-left corner of the glove box cavity. Remove () Phillips screw from the defroster duct. Remove the ductwork and () Phillips screw exposed. Remove the dash pad and () Phillips screws exposed at the top of the radio trim bezel. Continue to Tab Instructions on page.

CHEVROLET COLORADO 00-009 GMC CANYON 00-008 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Unsnap and remove the entire panel surrounding the radio and A/C controls. (Figure A) Remove () 9/ screws securing the radio to remove. (Figure B) Continue to Tab Instructions on page. 6

CHEVROLET EXPRESS VAN 00-00 GMC SAVANNA 00-00 6 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Unsnap and remove small trim panel below steering column. Unsnap radio/climate/instrument panel. Move shift lever to first gear position. Rotate panel counterclockwise to lift over steering column and remove. Remove () 9/" hex head screws to remove radio. Continue to Tab Instructions on page. 7

CHEVROLET EXPRESS VAN 00-007 GMC SAVANNA 00-007 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Remove () 0mm bolts from below knee bolster under steering column and remove panel. Remove () 0mm bolts from panel below passenger dash airbag and remove panel. Remove () 0mm nuts from inside center pocket between power outlets. 6 Unsnap and remove radio and instrument cluster panel. (May not be necessary to completely remove radio and instrument cluster panel to access radio.) Remove () 9/" bolts to remove radio. Continue to Tab Instructions on page. 8

6 7 CHEVROLET IMPALA 000-00 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Unclip each side of the dash trim bezel (fuse access) and remove () Phillips screw exposed on each side. Remove () Phillips screws under the instrument cluster. Unclip the trim panel above the pedals. (It is not necessary to remove the panel it can be left hanging). Remove () Phillips screws from the knee panel. Unclip the knee panel and remove () phillips screw exposed on the right side of the steering column. Unclip and remove the entire dash trim bezel. Continue to Tab Instructions on page. 9

CHEVROLET MALIBU 00-00 MALIBU CLASSIC 00 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Unsnap and remove radio bezel. Remove () bolts and remove radio. Continue to Tab Instructions on page. 0

6 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Remove the ashtray and () Phillips screws exposed. Remove () Phillips screws above the radio opening. Unclip the radio trim bezel and disconnect the cigarette lighter wiring. CHEVROLET METRO 99-00 SUZUKI SWIFT 99-00 Remove () screws securing each side of the factory head unit and () screw from the rear support. Slide the unit out and disconnect the wiring. Continue to Tab Instructions on page.

6 CHEVROLET MONTE CARLO 000-00 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Unclip the trim panel above the pedals. (It is NOT necessary to remove the panel it may be left hanging). Remove () 9/" screws from the knee panel and unclip the panel. Unsnap the driver's side fuse panel cover and remove () 9/" screw. Open the glove box and remove () 9/" screw from the upper left corner. Remove () 9/" screws securing the factory radio and disconnect the wiring. Continue to Tab Instructions on page.

CHEVROLET SSR 00-006 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Unclip and remove the () climate control knobs. (Figure A) Unclip and remove the long trim panel below the radio and passenger air bag. (Figure B) Unclip and remove the small trim panel to the left of the steering wheel. (Figure C) Remove the () 9/ screws securing the radio/instrument panel then unclip and remove the panel. (Figure D) A B 6 Remove the screws securing the factory head unit and disconnect the wiring. CHEVROLET TRACKER 99-00 SUZUKI SIDEKICK 99-998 / VITARA 999-00 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Remove the cigarette lighter and climate control knobs. Remove the ashtray and () screw exposed. Pull out on the climate control cluster and remove () screws exposed. Unclip the radio trim bezel. 6 Remove () screws from the factory head unit, slide the unit out and disconnect the wiring. Continue to Tab Instructions on page.

CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER 00-009 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Remove () Phillips screws inside instrument cluster. Remove () Phillips screw under climate controls to the left of the power outlet. Remove () 7mm hex heads from under steering column and lower the panel. Remove () Phillips screws around steering wheel. Unsnap and remove bezel. (Use caution pulling over hazard switch.) Remove () 7mm hex head screws to remove radio. Continue to Tab Instructions on page.

CHEVROLET VENTURE 000 OLDSMOBILE SILHOUETTE 000 PONTIAC MONTANA (EXCEPT SV6) 000 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Remove the ashtray and () phillips screw exposed in the ashtray cavity. Remove () Phillips screw from the cigarette lighter compartment. (Figure A) Slide the radio housing brackets onto the pocket and secure with the supplied () #8 /8 screws. (Figure B) Slide the DIN cage into the radio housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down. (Figure C) Slide the aftermarket head unit into the cage and secure. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter and making connections as shown. (Isolate and individually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.) Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation. Reassemble radio and dash assemblies in reverse order of disassembly. FINAL WIRING CONNECTIONS Make wiring connections using the EIA color code chart shown below and the instructions included with the head unit.
