Instruction Manual ENGLISH Before installing this unit, read the operating instructions carefully. Strictly adhere to these operating instructions. BIBO QUICK START GUIDE Insert the bibo Mouthpiece into a disposable sleeve LED side first, ring side last. Press the touch sensor on/off button up to three time to set the light intensity of the light Insert the Mouthpiece with its disposable sleeve into one of the Bight Blocks. Insert the Bight Block into the patient s oral cavity, LED side first so that the light will show towards the opposite side of the mouth, e.g. if the Bight Block is on the left side the light will show on the right side of the oral cavity. Directions for Use Your kit includes* One wall mount Charger US blades or EU pins One rechargeable light emitting Mouthpiece Two silicon Bite Blocks, big and small *May vary according to your local supplier Charging your bibo After your purchase, initial charge should be at least 4 hours While charging, the green LED on the Mouthpiece will blink, long blinks to indicate it is being charged. When full, green indication will be constant. Using your bibo to light the oral cavity Detach the Mouthpiece from the Charger by pulling it out of its hook gently While in idle mode, i.e. out of charger but not emitting light, the green LED will Blink shortly every 2 seconds. Fully charged, the bibo Mouthpiece should be able to light the oral cavity for approximately 2 hours. Insert the Mouthpiece into a disposable sleeve LED side facing forward. You can do that by holding the ring side and slipping the sleeve on it. Turn on your bibo Mouthpiece by touching the nine bumps zone for about 1 second. More presses will change the light intensity. The fourth press will return the unit to idle mode.
Inset your Mouthpiece into one of the Silicon Bite Blocks so that the LED is aligned with silicon aperture for the light Insert the Bite Block into the oral cavity on one side light emitting towards the other side of the mouth 5 to 10 minutes before battery is empty, a red LED will start blinking on the Mouthpiece. Maintenance Cleaning, disinfection, storage, and prevention of infection Silicone Bite Blocks can be fully autoclaved and also disinfected with a suitable ethanol/ propanol based surface disinfecting solution (in U. S.: EPA approved; in Europe: Dürr FD 322, Henkel Incidin Liquid, S&M Mikrozid Liquid, B. Braun Meliseptol rapid). Charger and Mouthpiece should be wiped clean with a moist cloth only and cannot not be placed in the autoclave. Keep other solvents or flammable liquids as well as intense sources of heat away from the unit as they may damage its housing. Long term storage should be in a cool dry place for the System parts. Mouthpiece should be fully charged and then disconnected from Charger while keeping the system in long term storage. Warnings Do not use a damaged device e.g. if a part of the MouthPiece is detached, bent, deformed, or is damaged in any way - do not use device Do not use for voltages different from the range indicated on the Charger. Always unplug the Charger before disinfecting. Do not try to connect any other device or part of device which does not belong to the bibo system. High voltages are present inside the Charger. Do not open Charger or any other part. Use the Charger only under dry conditions. Do not use if the Charger is wet. Equipment is not suitable for use in the presence of flammable anesthetic mixture with air or with oxygen or nitrous oxide. Service should be carried out only by the qualified technical personnel.

WARRANTY TERMS A 2-year warranty on Charger and Mouthpiece, and a ½-year warranty on the Silicone Bite Blocks, commencing on the date of purchase is granted. Within the warranty period, any defects in the appliance resulting from faults in material or workmanship will be rectified either by repairing or exchanging parts or exchanging the whole device at the manufacturer s discretion. Not covered by this warranty: Damage arising from improper use (operation with incorrect current/voltage, unsuitable power point, breakage, cleaning by other than the recommended methods), normal wear and defects which have a negligible effect on the value or operation of the appliance. This warranty becomes void if repairs are undertaken by unauthorized persons. This warranty extends to every country where this device is supplied or its appointed distributor is present and where no import restrictions or legal regulations hinder or prevent service being given under warranty. Service under this warranty does not affect the expiration date of the warranty. The warranty on parts or entire devices which are exchanged ends when the warranty on this device expires. In the event of a claim on this device, return the complete device together with the invoice to your dealer or send it to your nearest Service Center. All other claims including those for damages resulting from this warranty are excluded unless our liability is legally mandatory.
