High Integrity: Zero Leakage Performance: One Piece Body Design: Blowout Proof Stem: ISO Mounting Flange: Fire Safe: Engineered to control fugitive emissions, the HPCV series valve features a welded body/bonnet connection and a dynamically loaded mechanical shaft sealing system that energizes a double set of PTFE Chevron style packing with a strategically placed lantern ring. Bolted body/bonnet connections are also available. Each individual valve is tested for absolute bubble shutoff and zero stem leakage in accordance with ASME B 16.34 and API 598 specifications. The HPCV series valve is engineered to eliminate fugitive emissions associated with mis-aligned piping, vibration and temperature cycling. Our certified high quality industrial grade castings and forgings exceed the minimum wall thickness requirements specified within ASME B 16.34. The one piece internally mounted blow out proof design is intrinsically safe. It features a perfectly straight profile and has a polished finish to ensure the integrity of the packing. An intregrally cast ISO mounting flange allows for inexpensive automation. Tested in accordance with API 607 and BS 6755, the strategically placed tertiary graphite seals provide a secure fire safe design.

Pressure relief associated with the entrapment of liquefied compressible gases is achieved through either self relieving seats or a relief hole drilled in the face of the upstream side of the ball. Uni-directional valves have a flow direction arrow attached to the body. -150 F to 500 F depending on the materials selected. Designed to meet OSHA and Plant Safety lockout requirements. Each valve is assigned an individual serial numbered stainless steel tag after successfully completing all testing requirements. This unique serial number ensures total traceability for the life of the valve. A PMI process is performed on all critical components. Each component is stamped allowing complete identification. Mill/Test certificates are available for each valve allowing total traceability of all components. The document reports all testing results and also identifies all materials of construction. All carbon steel body valves are protected by a 3 part highly corrosion resistant epoxy paint. Aegis fully fluorinated molecular enhanced PTFE polymer is engineered to significantly improve valve performance by offering enhanced physical properties, improved temperature ratings and resistance to the effects of permeation. Aegis' HPCV series valves are engineered and manufactured under company committed quality assurance processes that have been audited and approved by ISO 9001, PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) and TUV. All valves are manufactured utilizing modern computer-aided production methods guaranteeing the control of the manufacturing process and the reduction of rework.
