N0246 Please keep this instruction sheet for future reference, as it contains important information. Requires nine AA (LR6) alkaline batteries (not included) for operation. Adult assembly is required for battery installation. Tool required for battery installation: Phillips screwdriver (not included). This product functions with most other Shake n Go vehicles. Each sold separately. www.fisher-price.com 1

Starting Gate Tab Slide the tab near the starting gate to release it. Lift the starting gate. Red Start Lights Starting Arrow Set the cars on each starting arrow. The red start light turns on when a car is placed on a starting arrow.

Ready - Set - Go! Light Post Lift the light post. Once both cars are on the starting arrows the lights on the light post flash red, yellow and then green to go!

Car Base Slide the power switch on each car and the base on. Shake the cars to start the engine and the sound effects. Note: For maximum distance, shake the car 7 or 8 times. Shaking more than this does not increase the distance it will travel. Pedals Press the pedal next to each car to start the race! Note: If one car takes off before the green light, you will hear a buzzer and the lights will reset.

Battery Installation Battery Safety Information 1.5V x 9 "AA" (LR6) Car Base Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of each car and the base. Loosen the screw(s) in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the battery compartment door. Insert three, new AA (LR6) alkaline batteries in each car and the base. Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer battery life. Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw(s). If the cars or the base begin to operate erratically, you may need to reset the electronics. Slide the power switch on the bottom of a car or the base off and then back on. When lights/sounds/motions become faint or stop, it s time for an adult to change the batteries! Protect the environment by not disposing of this product with household waste (2002/96/EC). Check your local authority for recycling advice and facilities (Europe only). In exceptional circumstances, batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your product. To avoid battery leakage: Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium). Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment. Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the product. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of this product in a fire. The batteries inside may explode or leak. Never short-circuit the battery terminals. Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type, as recommended. Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries. Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before charging. If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision.

Consumer Information Care When you re finished playing with this toy, slide the power switch on the base and the cars off. Wipe this toy with a clean cloth dampened with a mild soap and water solution. Do not immerse this toy. This toy has no consumer serviceable parts. Do not take this toy apart. Storage When finished racing, place both cars on the start arrows on the base. Push the light post and starting gate down to fold for storage.
