High-Rise Tire Dolly Assembly & Operation Instructions Model 70131 Capacity 1000 lb

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS. For your safety and the safety of others around you, read carefully before attempting to install, assemble, service or use this high-rise tire dolly. Observe all safety and warning information. Failure to comply with the information contained within could result in severe, even fatal injury and/or property damage. GENERAL DESCRIPTION The high-rise tire dolly is engineered for removal and installation of single, tandem and duplex tires and wheels, which are mounted on trucks that are supported above ground level. Intended Application Designed for removing, installing and transporting the heavy-duty truck tires. It can be used with any aboveground, or in-ground lift. Technical Features 1. Heavy-duty rollers on lifting arms aid in realignment of bolt pattern. 2. A 1500 lbs capacity winch with 5 to 1 gear ratio provides ease of one-handed operation. 3. The winch gear design acts as a brake and allows the load to be lowered incrementally if desired and without the need of constant hand pressure against the crank handle. 4. A hydraulic bottle jack is equipped for tilting the lifting arms to match the angle of the spindle and to aid axle realignment, provide additional stability to the fully loaded dolly. 5. Side Shifting ability makes alignment of lugholes simple. 6. 360 0 swivel casters are equipped with caster locks. 7. When fully loaded, heavy-duty 4 steel ball bearing casters allow easy movement. 8. Safety Chain provided to secure loads. Important Notice It is the responsibility of the owner and / or operator to read this instruction manual carefully before using your high-rise tire dolly. Proper use and care of the high-rise tire dolly will help assure you of continuous, safe, trouble free performance. Failure to follow any of these instructions may result in property damage or personal injury. WARNING! High-rise Tire Dolly is designed for removing, installation and transport wheels and tires only. Secure the loads with the safety chain provided. Use only on hard level surface. Follow safety instructions included with product for safe use. Safety Warnings 1. High-rise Tire Dolly is limited for use to the removal, installation and transportation of wheel and tires only. 2. Do not overload beyond rated capacity.

3. Overloading can cause damage to or failure of the unit. 4. Make sure load is centered and secure before transporting. 5. Keep hands clear of all pinch points. 6. Do not use if you detect structure failure during use. 7. Do not use if any component is found missing or damaged. Specifications: Capacity: 1000 lbs ( 1/2 ton ) Lifting Height: 39 5/8 Overall Width: 43 3/8 Overall Length: 46 Overall Unit Height: 63 9/16 Width of Lifting Arms: 24 1/4 Arm Conveyor Length: 19 5/8 Side Shifting Adjustment: Right : 3 1/2 Left : 3 Max: Arm Tilt Angle: 28 Min. Support Log Clearance: 6 Min. Arm Elevation : 2 1/8 Assembling 1. Take out the parts and components from the box. Check all the listed items with the packing list provided to make sure all the parts are not missing. 2. Follow the exploded drawing enclosed to assemble the casters, winch and fasten all the bolts and nuts. Operation 1. Turn the winch clockwise to rise up the lifting arms. It can be stopped at any desired position as the winch gear can act as a brake. To lower down the lifting arms, just turn the winch counter clockwise slowly. 2. Roll the dolly into position; let tires rest comfortably on the dolly against the lifting arms. Be sure to have the safety chain to secure the loads on the hook of the lifting arms. Then the dolly can be moved freely to any position you intend to. 3. Reinstalling tire is just as easy. Roll the dolly into place, line up the studs with the holes in the drum and push into place. By rotating the tire, the height of dolly can be adjusted easily for alignment of the studs into the holes. 4. To match the angle of the spindle and to aid axle realignment, the lifting arms can be adjusted towards left or right simply by rotating the side handle equipped on the lifting arm. The angle of the lifting arm can also be tilted by pumping up the hydraulic bottle jack which is fitted on the back of the dolly. Maintenance All dolly linkage, moving joints require frequent lubrication. Any chassis grease and motor oil can be used. 1. Use a grease gun and grease the winch to ensure rotating adjustment can be done smoothly. 2. Apply grease regularly to the moving joints.
