NORDcanopy Installation, use and maintenance manual
Installation, use and maintenance manual The choice of kitchen extractor hoods depends on the size of the kitchen equipment. The hood must be 00-00 mm wider / longer than the device. It is recommended to install the hood over the cooking equipment so that the distance between edge of the hood and the device in vertical direction would be from 00 to 00 mm. When the hood is installed over an oven, the hood must reach over the oven at least 00 mm, so that all vapour is removed from the air when the oven door is opened. The recommended height of the hood from the floor is,000 mm (,900 to,00 mm). >00 00 900-00 h >0, x h 00-00 Figure. The arrangement of the kitchen hood www.etsnord.com
Installation of the hood The hoods belonging to NORDcanopy product group are delivered as modules. Thus, the installation process is not dependent on the type or the size of the hood. NB! To suspend the hood onto the ceiling use threaded rods, nuts and washers (not included) not smaller than M8.. mounting bracket. threaded rod (min. M8). nut (min. M8). washer Figure. Suspending the hood from the ceiling The hood consisting of several modules each module will be "hung" separately. Then the modules are levelled together as a kit, and their tops are connected with bolts and nuts (not included) (see Figure ). The hood will me hung from the ceiling, even if it is close to the wall. NB! The stainless material protection films of the hood (except. between the modules interconnected exposed walls) can be removed just before the system becomes operational. - - - - - - Figure. After exchanging the fluorescent lamp the protective glass of the luminary is sealed again with screws (see Figure ). Figure. Integrated luminary Surveying the kitchen hood and air flow regulation The hoods in the NORDcanopy product group are provided with measuring nozzles (), which are located in the lower part of the chamber (see Figure ). Paigaldamine - VALGUSTI NB! When taking measurements, the HFK Triin grease filters.0.06 must be installed and cleaning door closed (models HKS, HKAS, HKTS). Generally, the wall surfaces of the hood are cleaned during an ordinary kitchen cleaning routine and the HFK grease filters are cleaned based on their appearance, preferably the filters are washed at the end of each working day. NB! Do not use rough or abrasive agents, chlorine or bleach when cleaning the hood. Cleaning the hood wall surfaces All kitchen hood inner and outer surfaces, including luminary, is cleaned with soapy water or neutral detergents. After cleaning the surfaces must be thoroughly rinsed to prevent dangerous implications from cleaning agents and high temperatures interaction. NB! The hood should never be cleaned if any of its surfaces are hot. The clean the exhaust chamber the HFK grease traps have to be removed from the hood. To clean the inlet chamber (models HKS, HKAS, HKTS) the cleaning hatch is removed from the hood (). To do this the cleaning hatch is rotated by means of the handles until it can be removed from the hood (see Figure 5). Figure 5. Removing the inlet chamber cleaning hatch 8 www.etsnord.com
Cleaning the HFK grease filters To clean the grease filters they are removed from the hood with handles. Flowing grease is poured into sewers and the filters are washed by hand or in the dishwasher or cleaned with steam. Clean filters are placed back into the hood. Cleaning the grease collector The grease collector is removed at the same time with cleaning of the filters, discharged into sewage and is washed by hand or in the dishwasher or cleaned with steam. NB! The grease box should be checked regularly and emptied if necessary. Images are for illustrative purposes We reserve the right to make changes 9
