Introduction Traffic safety is the main objective of the workers in the roads and traffic studies, man as a driver or walking causes the largest number of traffic accidents, but there are a lot of cases, mistakes, shortcomings and obstacles in the road create the conditions for a person to make mistakes and causing accidents. The city of Zarqa in Jordan suffers from multiple traffic problems, and the aim of the research is to identify these problems, analyzing, and applying scientific analysis in the classification of these problems and their causes. Find and touched on all the causes of traffic problems, each separately, in terms of the history of its origins and evolution of the suggested solutions

Development of the city To know the reality of the roads and the traffic situation in the city of Zarqa must study the history of the road network in the city and what are the foundations on which it originated, and how it was implementing the infrastructure of the city. The information available indicating that the city was not designed based on statistical studies by specialists in the required fields, but vital projects in the city carried out based on interpretations based on the views, opinions and tolerant of right and wrong in its outcome

Car parkings There are no previous studies focused on parkings for cars in the city Zarqa there are 22 parkings is a private lands, exploited by their owners as a parkings until the construction of buildings on them, and these parkings small in capacity, and not enough to meet the needs of the city.

2. Population problems 1. Increasing population sudden due unexpected political and economical reasons in the region. 2. Population is concentrated in the cities to work and leave the villages in order to near the workplace. 3. The increasing population growth followed by increased traffic volume.

Public transportation problems: - Terminals problems: the location where the major terminals are located in one side (south-east) of the city, which means that the most public transport vehicles passing from the city center to get to the terminals. the large number of stalls and street vendors in these terminals which impede the main goal of these terminals. terminals capacity is not sufficient.

Public transportation busses need detailed study that include: - New passengers statistics. Bus lines & directions, bus stops. regulate and control the work of the owner companies of public transportation lines

Proposals to improve traffic in the city The work of a comprehensive traffic study for the city Work to improve public transport in coordination with the relevant otherities Find new parkings in the city's commercial center Find new Terminals Support Zarqa Municipality to finance projects that contribute to solving traffic problems. Support the police department to increase traffic control. Disseminate awareness among all members of society drivers and pedestrians. And focus on educating school and university students in their places of study, and the use of all available media for this purpose.
