The second edition proved to be another major gathering of industry professionals who listened to technical presentations by well-known experts in the areas of injection molding, process cooling, automation, packaging design, high performance materials, bioplastics, waste management and recycling, among others. 2 2018 Event Highlight Relevant issues covered by industry experts The Asia Plastics Processing Technology and Innovative Materials Summit aims to present the latest developments and future trends in the application of plastics for Indonesia s fast-rising sectors such as automotive, packaging, consumer electronics and infrastructure. The presentations invited professional speakers from Switzerland, Italy, China, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia to bring 17 speeches, including injection molding, process cooling, automation, packaging design, high performance materials, bioplastics, waste management and recycling issues. Focused issue in panel discussion T he Summit had the Panel of Experts participated by speakers who talked about how Asian companies can move toward Industry 4.0. The panel discussion was hosted by Ms. Beng TanGuerrero and participated by three experts - Mr. Henky Wibawa from IPF, Mr. Claudio Domasi from Frigel Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. and Mr. Frans Mandeko from Dharma Group. In the discussion, the panelists gave tips on how Asian companies can move forward, make their operations more efficient and competitive and become part of "Making Indonesia 4.0". Great place for innovation and business networking T he participants gave positive feedback on the Summit as this has become an important venue where they can expand their network and market reach, aside from learning about the latest and upcoming trends in plastics processing and materials.
