To protect the bags from exposure to weather, clean and condition the leather periodically with high-quality leather care products. If the bags become completely wet (water has soaked through the leather), they must be dried at room temperature. Never dry the bags in a dryer, in front of a heater, or near a fireplace. When allowing the bags to dry, stuff them with newspaper so they retain their shape. Allow two to three days for the bags to dry completely. After drying, apply a high-quality leather conditioner. Before riding, confirm that the lid is closed and do not open and close it while riding. Load the luggage evenly between the right and left side. The saddlebags are not perfectly watertight, and water may enter when washing the motorcycle, when it rains, etc. Do not place valuables or easily breakable items in the saddlebags. Check the accessory mounts frequently and retighten if necessary. 2 of 8 08L56-MEG-1002-9E 2011 American Honda Motor Co., Inc - All Rights Reserved.
