Syncing the Quad and Remote 1. Connect the battery to the quad. Turn the power switch on and place the quad on flat ground. The quad s lights will be flashing rapidly. 2. Make sure the acceleration lever on the remote is at its lowest position. Turn the controller on, and you will hear it beep twice. The quad s lights will begin flashing more slowly. Push the acceleration lever all the way up and then back down. The remote will beep once, and the the lights on the quad will stay lit. The quad and remote are now synced. You are ready to fly your quad! Note: The blue lights on the quad are the forward direction Flight Tips: Use the slow speed mode for flying inside. Avoid obstacles, pets, and people. Use the fast speed mode for flying outdoots. Do not fly in windy or rainy weather. Flight Warnings: Do not fly quadcopter in inclement weather. Flying quadcopters within 3 miles of an airport is prohibited. Quadcopter s range is 200 feet. Do not fly quad outside of this range. Exceeding range may cause damage to your quad. Stand 10 feet behind quad when taking off. For best control when flying, it is recommended the pilot always stays behind the quad when possible. Flying the Quadcopter Basic Flying Maneuvers: Ascend Push accelerator lever up, quad will ascend. Push accelerator lever down, quad will descend. Descend Turn Left Turn Right Push accelerator lever left, quad will turn left. Push accelerator lever right, quad will turn right. Forward Backward Push direction lever up, quad will fly forward. Push direction lever down, quad will fly backward. Sidefly Left Sidefly Right Push direction lever left, quad will fly left. Push direction lever right, quad will fly right. 3
Flip Mode: Press the Flip Button. Remote control will beep. Front Flip Push direction lever up, quad will flip forward. Press the Flip Button. Remote control will beep. NOTE: Fly quad to 5 feet in the air to safely do flips. Back Flip Left Roll Right Roll Push direction lever down, quad will flip backward. Push direction lever left, quad will roll left. Push direction lever left, quad will roll left. Trimming the Quadcopter Gently push the acceleration lever until the quad is about 3 feet off the ground. If the quad favors any direction, you can trim the motors so it flies with more balance. Note: When the quad is flying an inch off the ground, it is affected by blade vortex and becomes unstable. Fly at a higher altitude to better trim the quad. Turn left Turn right When quad spins left, press right button until it flies straight. When quad spins right, press left button until it flies straight. Forward Backward When quad leans forward, press back button until it flies straight. When quad leans back, press forward button until it flies straight. Left Right When quad leans left, press right button until it flies straight. When quad leans right, press left button until it flies straight. Press the speed button to switch to high gear If the quad cannt take off, you can reset the quad to fix this. Switch the speed to high speed. Hold both levers down and to the left then release. The indicator will rapidly flash. Once the indicator is lit, the correction is complete. 4
Flight Exercises After enough practice, try the following exercises: Fixed rotation (turning) Straight ahead - turn left - forward - turn left - forward - left, practice flying a square pattern. Landing in designated locations (point landing) Forward - backward - to the left - to the right to complete a cross action Troubleshooting Problem Cause Solution Quad turns on, but can t fly 1. Remote or quad have poor power supply. 2. Remote and quad are not synced. 1. Reinstall fully charged batteries. 2. Resync remote and quad. Quad shakes violently 1. Rotor deformation 2. Hollow shaft is bent 1. Replace corresponding wing 2. Replace hollow shaft Quad takes off to one side 1. Rotor deformation 2. Motor damage 3. Aircraft was not flat when synced with remote 1. Replace corresponding wing 2. Replace motor 3. Resync quad and remote on flat surface Quad flies out of control 1. Quad is beyond control range 2. Multiple quads were synced at the same time 1. Fly quad within 200 foot flight range 2. Sync your quad independently, one by one Quad cannot fly faster 1. Rotor rotation speed is too slow 2. Quad battery is low 1. Slowly push up on accelerator lever 2. Recharge battery Quad lands too fast and crashes Pilot quickly pulled back the acceleration lever Slowly lower the acceleration lever when landing 5
Notes: 1. Control range will be affected when the remote control runs low on battery power. 2. If battery power is too low, the quad will have trouble taking off. 3. If quad appears damaged, promptly repair. Do not fly near trees, people, obstacles, or in high winds to avoid damage. 4. Remove the batteries during long term non usage to prevent battery leakage and damage. 5. Avoid high altitude or high impact collisions in order to prevent damage.
