FOI 312 1. A current list of the make/models and number of lease cars in the trust, if possible by locality and also by directorate please, with all associated costs. Please find below the list of all NWAS managers lease cars which also indicate those that are blue light users. Non directors are given an allowance of 2800 towards a car and Directors receive 4600 from the Trust. Any additional vehicl e cost above this is paid by the driver. Insurance costs for blue light vehicles 1,222.02 and for non-blue light vehicles is 531.07. As vehicles are available for both private and business use, employees contribute to the insurance of the vehicle, as the insurance premium is shared 50/50 between the Trust and the empl oyee. Just to note that if a member of staff leaves the Trust the lease of the vehicle is then transferred to the new member of staff recruited to that role. 2. Each lease car application states who is eligible to have a blue light vehicle and this is authorised by the employees line manager and director. All reimbursement of mileage claims for both blue light and business mileage is administered by the Trust s Payroll and Fleet. The Finance department complete a P11D form for reporting of end of year expenses. 5. I understand the trust has a number of ford fiestas for lease cars. Please can you provide the total cost break down for one of these individual vehicles to the trust? The Trust operates 3 Ford Fiesta vehicles for Ambulance Liaison Officers the cost of these vehicles are 2468.01 per annum. These are non-blue light but have half Battenberg markings. 6. Can you provide the make/model of the highest cost lease vehicle to the trust, the directorate that sits in and the banding of the manager? BMW X3 within the Resilience Directorate and the manager is a Band 8. As mentioned in point 1 managers are given an allowance towards a vehicle and the remaining amount is paid by the driver. 7. Please can you provide the cost of fitting blue lights to lease cars in this financial year and a list of all lease car make/models that are blue light enabled in the trust?
