ENGLISH 3.4. LAMP MOUNTING or SUBSTITUTION For the lamp mounting/substitution it is needed act on the panel that is located at the top of the projector (see Fig.4). Provide yourself with a cloth in order to mount the lamp in a proper and functional way. Fig.4 The steps to follow are: 1. Unscrew the threaded knob (highlighted in Fig.4, lens side) that fixes the panel at the top of the projector and open the panel. 2. Unscrew the threaded knobs that fix the GOBO HOLDER and that are located in the two sides of projector as shown in Fig.5. 3. Take out the GOBO HOLDER from projector rotating it as shown in Fig.6. Fig.5 Fig.6 4. Install the lamp (that must be touched just with the cloth provided before) in the appropriate housing, that is located at the center of the parabola of projection, and please pay attention to the installation direction. 5. Insert again the GOBO HOLDER taken out before and pay attention to screw again the threaded knobs needed to fix it. 6. Close the panel that is located at the top of the projector fixing it with the special threaded knob unscrewed before. ATTENTION: Please pay attention that the panel that is located at the top of the projector is closed before switch on the projector (the lamp gives off rays that damage the eyes). The lamp mounting/substitution must be done when the projector is switched off and not connected to the mains supply. If the lamp must be substituted after the projector usage, wait (about 15 minutes) so that all internal components of projector are cool. GOLIVE150-9 -

3.5. ISTRUZIONI DI MONTAGGIO DEI GOBO The gobo has two main parameters that allow its mounting on projector; these parameters are shown in Fig.7 and they are: - the OD (Outer Diameter) which is the physical gobo diameter - the ID (Inner Diameter) i.e. the circle diameter within which the image to realize has to be contained. For all GOLIVE projector series the gobos must have OD = 52,8 mm e ID = 48 mm. Fig.7 ATTENTION: During gobo installation /substitution into the projector it is necessary placing the gobo so that the REFLECTING SIDE ALWAYS FACING TOWARDS THE LAMP; on contrary THE MATTED (BLACK/GREY) SIDE MUST FACE TOWARDS THE PROJECTOR LENS (see Fig.8). This mounting rule allows the correct usage of gobo avoiding its breaking. LAMP GOBO LENS Fig.8 Once the installation direction of gobo was understood, it is enough embed it between the two silicone cylinders visible on GOBO HOLDER, doing a slight pressure on the gobo (see Fig.9).
