Atra inserts Strong of a 25 year experience in manufacturing high quality devices in steel and refractory material, Atra has developed a wide range of inserts combining heat output and aesthetics. Their modern designs, their varied shapes, their capacity to fit in any kind of surrounds are the main assets of Atra inserts. They just let you build your own and unique fireplace, fitting your home and following your own tastes. Quality The burn chamber is made of a strong thickness of steel. Welded together in one piece, it will keep its shape. Covered with very thick (6 cm) and high quality refractory bricks, the burn chamber is able to resist temperatures up to 1.300 C. All Atra inserts are delivered with a convection box and a protection cover for the guillotine door. Aesthetics The traditional refractory bricks and the wide guillotine glass-door gives your Atra insert the appearance of a traditional open fireplace. Discreet and sober, Atra inserts can fit in all home styles. Reliability An advanced quality control system at each stage of the production line ensures the perfect conformity and reliability of our products. Ease of use Using an Atra insert is easy through a simple front air admission control (to manage combustion) and a damper control (to manage the draft). Performance All Atra fireplaces are tested by independent laboratories and are conform to the EN13229 norm. They all provide high efficiency (always above 70%) and low CO emissions (always below 0,3 %). The large refractory mass accumulates heat that is then regularly released during the blaze, but also long after the fire has gone out. Heat exchangers all around the burn chamber and heat exchange pipes going through the smoke bell ensure the highest output and efficiency to your fireplace. 2
