It incorporates but improves upon and updates some of the treasured and noteworthy design elements of the much loved Route Master; the grooved flooring on the stairs and entrances, lightweight bench seating, and most importantly, the, hop on hop off, rear platform in use when a conductor is on board. The vehicle, in Royal British tradition, sports a steering wheel on the right side, is 14.5 feet high and has left side entrance/exit doors. It is considerably higher than any of the tourist Double Decker busses seen throughout Times Square and other popular attractions in NYC.
