Green Labels Our recommendations s a consequence of increasing demands for applications with energy efficient and resourceconserving components, more and more products are provided with Green Labels which also imply radical energy savings. However, information about the total efficiency of the devices to ensure an objective efficiency estimation are rarely found. These labels generally prove the use of energy efficient components, but do not say anything about aerodynamic quality or total efficiency of the product. Compare the total efficiencies of different products (facts, not labels) lways operate the fan near its best operating point Legal Requirements The Regulation 327/2011 of the European Commission defines minimum efficiency levels for fans which may be marketed in Europe. This Regulation has two stages: the first came into force on 01.01.2013 and the second will take effect on 01.01.2015. The efficiency requirements to the different fan designs vary widely. The diagrams show an overview of the required target energy efficiencies for 2013 and 2015 in relation to the input power P1. MPC Highly flexible exhaust fan box Cubical, highly flexible fan box for different applications Suitable for medium temperatures up to 80 C Variable outlet configuration (right/left, axial) Easy to maintain via a large revision panel ErP 2013 Impeller: Backward curved radial impeller, sizes up to 500 made of steel sheet, welded, powder painted, sizes 560 and 630 made of aluminium sheet. The impellers are balanced in two planes according to quality standard G 6.3 (DIN ISO 1940). Motor: ll C motors and the three phase motor MPC 560 are designed for transformer controlled speed. The sizes 560 and 630 can be operated by means of a frequency converter. ll motors meet protection class IP 54 and overload is prevented by a built-in thermostatic switch. Casing: The double-skinned housing is made of galvanised steel sheet and equipped with a 35 mm insulation. The insulation is non-combustible according to DIN EN 13 501-1, building material class 1. The interior housing surfaces are smooth and the housing is provided with an integrated grease drain pan. ssembly: In combination with a rain and a motor cover (available as accessories), the unit is also suitable for outdoor installation. Optional connection sleeves with double-lipped seals for direct tube connection are available. MPC...T The cubical fan box for kitchen exhaust air Cubical, highly flexible fan box for different applications Suitable for medium temperatures up to 80 C Motors outside the air stream according to VDI 2052 Variable outlet configuration (right/left/on top) ErP 2013 Impeller: Backward curved radial impeller, sizes up to 500 made of steel sheet, welded, powder painted, sizes 560 and 630 made of aluminium sheet. The impellers are balanced in two planes according to quality standard G 6.3 (DIN ISO 1940). Motor: ll motors of the series correspond protection class IP 54. They are designed for voltage and frequency control according to the accessory allocation and they are separated from the medium air flow by a partition wall. If required, a motor protection shield can be ordered as accessory. The motors are protected against overload by a built-in thermostatic switch. Casing: The double-skinned housing is made of galvanised steel sheet and equipped with a 35 mm insulation. The insulation is non-combustible according to DIN EN 13 501-1, building material class 1. The interior housing surfaces are smooth and the housing is provided with an integrated grease drain pan. ssembly: In combination with a rain and a motor cover (available as accessories), the unit is also suitable for outdoor installation. Optional connection sleeves with double-lipped seals for direct tube connection are available.
