November 1, 2017 Dear Cunningham Friends, June 1 st through June 3 rd, 2018 will mark the 23rd Annual Greenwich Concours d Elegance. We are so excited to have you all with us as we host a reunion of the Cars of Briggs Cunningham! For those of you who are new to our event, Greenwich is unique in that it is two concours back to back. Saturday is the Concours Americana for American cars and motorcycles, while Sunday is the Concours International for imported marques. For 2018, as a special tribute, we will have all of the Cunningham cars, both production cars and race cars, displayed along the waterfront on both Saturday and Sunday. The festivities will begin on Friday with the Greenwich Concours Grand Tour, run by Rich and Jean Taylor of Vintage Rallies. The Grand Tour will have a Cunningham theme and is open to Concours participants, both past and present. We will also host an all-day Open House for all of our participants at the nearby Bruce Museum. At the end of the day, everyone is invited to the Bonhams Auction tent for a cocktail reception. Once again, the Greenwich International Film Festival will take place the same weekend as the Concours, and we are planning a Friday night event together. Details on this will be announced soon via email and social media. This year, and going forward, we have booked the entire Delamar Hotel for our Concours participants. The Delamar is the luxurious waterfront hotel adjacent to the Concours site and the perfect place to be close to all of the weekend s activities. The Delamar will also be the site for our Saturday Night Gala. Through this celebration of the history and beauty of the automobile, we have the opportunity to raise money for an incredible charity, Americares. We are so pleased to be able to help Americares deliver medicine and medical supplies to people in need all around the world. Enclosed you will find a 2018 Application. These can either be mailed, or scanned and sent via email, or you can visit our website and use the online submission form. We thank you all for sharing your beautiful automobiles, and for making the Greenwich Concours possible! Most Sincerely, Leif & Mary Wennerstrom Please note: the deadline for vehicle submission is March 31 st ; however, early submission is strongly suggested, especially for entrants desiring a room at the Delamar.
