Page 3 Warning & Safety Reminder A qualified service technician must install burner/cremator Manufacturer or Distributor does not install the Cremator. Consequently, it is the responsibility of the owner and user to install, maintain, and operate this machine in such a manner as to comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), State and Local Laws, Ordinances and Safety Codes. In order to avoid an unsafe or hazardous condition this machine must be installed and operated in accordance with the following minimum provisions. Cremator doors must be kept closed while operating. Keep children out of reach of cremator and always keep doors closed when not in use. Incinerator must be installed on solid and level surface Example: Poured concrete surface or concrete slab. Keep out foreign materials such as metal, stones, wood, etc. Do not attempt to burn wood, trash, rubber tires, plastics, etc. Do not overload cremator. About 3 from top of tub After starting do not attempt to touch unit. Stay a safe distance away. Keep cremator at least 25 feet away from any building/ structure. Inspect / Install fuel supply Caution: Inspect the fuel supply system. Ensure that the fuel lines are correctly sized and installed and that the fuel flow is unobstructed, the fuel tank is clean and proper fuel is supplied. Failure to supply a reliable fuel flow could result in loss of heat and potential severe equipment damage. Earth Smart Solutions
Page 4 Warning: Use only fuels recommended for your burner/cremator General guidelines When installing fuel lines use a continuous run of heavy-wall copper tubing when possible. Check all connections and joints to ensure they are air-tight. Use flare fittings. Do not attempt to use compression fittings on copper tubing. Never use pipe sealing tape. Install a large capacity fuel filter with oil burners. Oil tank should be at the same level as the burner or slightly higher. Perform checkout procedures Warning: Should overheating or an emergency occur, immediately: Shut off fuel supply line valve. Determine proper response before attempting start-up. Checklist Burner/cremator installed per instruction manuals? Burner/cremator installed per applicable codes? Installation site is solid, level and free from foreign materials? Fuel supply lines are in good condition and sized/designed correctly? Fuel tank is full and all fuel line valves are open? Wiring installed per burner/cremator instructions? Burner/cremator and all components inspected and in good condition?
Page 5 Warning: Turn off power to the burner/cremator when servicing. Failure to comply could result in severe personal injury, death, or substantial property damage. Train the user Train the user to operate the burner/cremator under normal conditions. Explain procedure to shut down burner/cremator when required. Verify the user is aware of all procedures specified in all of the manuals (not limited to this instructions manual). Verify user will not store or use combustible liquids or materials or contaminants in the vicinity of the burner/ cremator. Explain proper loading of cremator. Do not load while hot. Do not dump heavy loads from a loader bucket onto grating system. Do not fill above the end grate. Warning: Do not start burner if the combustion chamber contains oil or any fuel vapors.. Start up & Operation 1. Fill cremator with remains, NO higher than the top of the end grate. DO NOT over fill cremator. 2. Pull lid forward, lock lid down with cam locks on each end. Ensure a tight seal. 3. Check fuel supply and proper fuel flow. 4. Check power supply. 5. Check under grates there is no obstruction. 6. Set timer to the indicated hour run time (80-120 pounds per hour). Earth Smart Solutions
General Maintenance Page 6 Keep the area around the burner/cremator clear and free from combustible vapors, liquids, and foreign objects. Clean ash chamber before every burn. Verify that the chimney opening is unobstructed.. Inspect fuel supply system to ensure proper fuel flow. Do not drop heavy loads on grates. Do not open cremator while hot. Disconnect the electrical supply to the burner/cremator before attempting to service to avoid electrical shock or possible injury. Burner/cremator parts can be extremely hot. Allow all parts to cool before attempting to handle or service to avoid potential of severe burns. Notice: For other than routine maintenance, contact a qualified service technician. Notice: Install this burner/cremator in accordance with all local codes and authorities take precedence over the general instructions provided in this manual. 1500
Page 7 F-5 and F-10 Burner Setup and Instruction AB All Diesel Afterburners come with a.75 nozzle size F-5 Burner All LL700 come with a 1.25 nozzle size F-5 Burner All LL900 come with a 2.00 nozzle size and a F-10 Burner All LL1500 come with a 2.50 nozzle size and a F-15 Burner An external fuel filter is REQUIRED. The filter should be changed at least once a year also the strainer inside the fuel pump should be cleaned. 700 900

Page 11 TROUBLESHOOTING Initial Checklist: 1. Ensure computer screen is illuminated. 2. Check Turbo Fan on lid is running. If not check the in-line fuse in control box. 3. Burner does not run but Turbo Fan and Computer operate correctly. 4. Check green light is illuminated on left side of computer press reset button on burner control box. 5. Check wires going below control box are installed correctly White wire to N, Black wire to L, Green wire to Ground. Note: Propane burner must have a minimum of 118vac and be grounded properly. 6. Still not working check wire from Pin 3 of Relay to L on Burner. Burner fan runs all the time but burner does not ignite. Burner does not go into lockout. 1. Check the photo-eye (Diesel) Ground wire (LP/NG) making sure it is clean and making contact. Wipe any residue if needed. 2. Check Control Box is mounted flush and that the photo-eye is not seeing light. Still bad change Control Box. Burner runs but will not stayed ignited 1. Ensure electrodes are set correctly according to burner booklet. 2. Ensure air damper is set correctly. 3. Check fuel filter and fuel pump screen (Diesel) is not clogged. 4. Check fuel nozzle (Diesel) is clean 3. Check the polarity is correct (LP/NG) 4. Check Ground wire on ionization probe is secure Burner does not ignite and goes into lockout 1. Press your Reset Button 2. Ensure fuel pump has been bled and purged (Diesel) 2. Ensure you have the correct manifold pressure (LP/NG) 3. Check control box is mounted flush and is good. 4. Ensure there is no light getting to the burner. (Diesel) 5. Check to see if Diesel is spraying out of the nozzle. Page 12 Load & Lock Cremators Manufacture s Warranty Load & Lock Cremators here in after referred to as a Manufacture warrants each new cremator to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use from the original date of sale. Base upon the following time periods Steel for 1 year. Refractory for 6 months. Electrical for 90 days. All Grates for 90 days. This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties and representations expressed or implied, and all other obligations or liabilities on the part of the manufacturer. Manufacture s liability and obligation is limited to the repair or replacement of the product at the manufacturer s option provided the purchaser returns the claimed defective product to the Manufacturer. With transportation charges prepaid, and an examination by the manufacturer discloses the product is defective before replacement will be shipped. This warranty does not cover said product, which has been repaired or altered outside of the factory of the Manufacturer in anyway so as to in the judgment of the Manufacturer affect the stability, reliability, or performance of the product. Failure caused by accident, misuse, negligence, tampering, improperly attached or improper maintenance will void warranty. The warranty excludes any and all liability or incidental damages. This warranty gives you specific rights providing said product is put to its proper designed use.
