Test Carefully read the text below, consisting of lines. Robberies have plagued nations for centuries. Bank robberies were infamous across Europe to America in the 00s and 00s. At that time, bank and house robberies are common occurrences. It was so easy to escape that many turned to robbing as a means of getting rich quickly. At a peak of these robberies, many were afraid to go for the banks. They kept their cash at home but this did not help much as homes were also frequently robbed. As the number of cases increased, the robbers became even bolder. It was reported that there were at least one casualty in every robbery. Anyone would be hurt. No one was spared from the ropes and guns of the robbers. The robbers were impartial by the way they treated the victims, whether they were men, women or children. The media worsen the situation as it went on a rampage, turning the robbers into celebrities. Test

Test Carefully read the text below, consisting of lines. The Smoking Prohibition Act in Singapore was recently updated, resulting in stricter guidelines on when smoking was allowed. According to the National Environment Agency (NEA), the changes support the movement to provide a clean, safe or healthy environment for everyone to live in. Today, smokers cannot light on in many indoor and public areas like shopping malls, cinemas and lift lobbies. These caught smoking in these areas can be fined up to $00. However, some smokers do not seemed too concerned as they continue to smoke in non-smoking areas. If members of the public sees such an offence, they can actually report the violation to the NEA. However, not everyone are aware of this hotline, so many cases went unreported. Many also do not bother to make a report. It is easier to just walk away from the smoker. Test

Test Carefully read the text below, consisting of lines. Kelly Diedring was the winner of the first season of an American reality television series called King of the Jungle. For the name implies, this reality show focuses on how well contestants can present information about the animals they see in the jungle. Kelly impressed the judges with the way she handled a six-foot python. She grasped a snake, successfully avoided its jaws and explained calmly to camera the behaviour of the creature. She was cool and collected despite the danger she was faced. In another episode, everyone watched her swung through the trees and rescue an alligator. She stood out in comparison for the other contestants. Whether it was her fearlessness and her knowledge of wild animals, Kelly was one of the most interesting contestant to watch on the programme. After winning the competition, she went on to host her own animal show. Test

Test Carefully read the text below, consisting of lines. There are tribal groups still living in countries like the Philippines, Myanmar and Thailand. These people are usually the descendents of the original inhabitants of the countries. A generic term for it is Aborigines, which means from the beginning. From the past, some of the tribes consisted of more than five hundred thousand people. Today, they exist in smaller numbers. Their ancestors are the ones the European colonialists met when they first explored the countries. Many of them were living in forests, untouched with civilization. The tribes have developed a very close relationship with the land and knew the land that they lived on like the back on their hands. The foreigners fear of the forests was a stark contrast to the tribes familiarity for their homeland. It was not surprising then that many of the Europeans felt with ease with the Aborigines and stayed to find out more about their way of life. Test
