Material roperties Austenitic Stainless Steel Austenitic quality containing 18% chrome and 8% nickel. erkstoff no. 1.401 AISI 04 18/ 8 Cri steel is nonmagnetic in the entire recoended temperature area. he austenitic quality has a very high degree of corrosion resistance in oxidizing surroundings. In connection with chloridecontaining fluids being evaporated the 18/ 8 Cri steel is not recoended as stress corrosion will occur at long time s tensile strain. in material for s made of this austenitic stainless steel: 18/ 8 Cri steel, cold drawn to high hardness strength. Ferritic Stainless Steel Ferritic quality containing 17.5% chrome. erkstoff no. 1.4016 AISI 40 he ferritic quality has a high wearability and is economical where demands for corrosion resistance are not very strong. he corrosion resistance of the ferritic quality is not as high as for the austenitic quality, but it does not have a tendency to stress corrode in a chloride environment. in material for s made of this ferritic stainless steel: 18 / 8 Cri steel, cold drawn to high hardness and strength. Special ardened Steel Special hardened steel with 0.45% carbon. he carbon steel has a hardness of 642 C. he products are through hardened. in material for s made of this special hardened steel: ardened and circular ground carbon steel. Steel Our steel s are made from high quality steel alloys. s steel s are made in the following standard grades: Austenitic stainless steel Ferritic stainless steel Special hardened steel ote: Other grades can be supplied upon request. Material roperties Acetal Acetal is a thermoplastic material with very good mechanical and thermal properties. he material can also be characterized by great strength, elasticity and dimensional stability. Acetal is resistant to a wide selection of chemicals. Acetal has good qualities for slide material, low coefficient of friction and a good resistance to wear. ecoended temperature area: 40 to +90 C (40 to +194 F). lastic Standard rades Standard material for our plastic s is acetal which is made in different grades. DAcetal Acetal polymers with selflubricating components. Colour: rey and white. FAcetal Acetal polymers with improved selflubricating components. Colour: Brown. SFAcetal Acetal polymers with selflubricating additives to obtain the lowest possible friction resistance. Colour: Dark grey. olypropylene olypropylene is a thermoplastic material with very good chemical resistance properties. is an economical material for applications with high temperatures. ecoended temperature area: +1 to +104 C (+ to +219 F). Colour: rey. s also produces plastic s in other materials for use under special conditions, please see page 9. Standard pin material for plastic s is 18 / 8 Cri steel, but most types can be supplied with plastic pins too. 8

Material roperties lass einforced olypropylene A A is an acid resistant material which is used where very high chemical resistance is required. he limited mechanical strength of polypropylene is considerably improved by the glass fiber reinforcement. Colour: hite. lass einforced olyester lass reinforced polyester is a material with an extremely high resistance to wear and heat. Colour: Black. Antistatic Material AS lectrically conductive acetal is used where the buildup of static electricity must be avoided e.g. in the aerosol and electronics industry. Colour: Black olycarbonate C olycarbonate is characterized by being extremely impact proof, even at low temperatures. olycarbonate is only used for SnapOn s. Colour: rey. olyamide A66 olyamide A66 is a thermoplastic material with many fine properties. he material has a high resistance to wear and high strength and great stiffness. Furthermore polyamide has a large temperature area. Colour: Black.
