(Recommend to fully depress and release 5%, giving the device room for changing door conditions.) While depressing the push pad, apply power. (i.e. presenting the credential to the reader). Continue to keep pad depressed, the device will beep 6 times. After the beeps have stopped, release the pad and now the adjustment is complete. If not to your liking repeat the 3 steps. Once you ve found the correct location, flip the dip switch to off to lock programming. Beeps Explanation Solution Over Voltage Troubleshooting & Diagnostics > 30V unit will shut down. Check voltage & adjust to 4 V. 3 Beeps Under Voltage < 0V unit will shut down. Check voltage & adjust to 4 V. 4 Beeps Failed Sensor Verify all 3 sensor wires are installed correctly. Replace sensor if problem persists by contacting office. 5 Beeps 6 Beeps Retraction or dogging failure PUSH TO SET After st fail: 5 beeps then immediately attempts to retract again. After nd fail: 5 beeps with pause in-between for 30 seconds then device attempts to retract again. After 3rd fail: 5 beeps every 7 minutes, device will not attempt to retract. To Reset: Depress bar for 5 seconds at any time. Device is recording it s new position and power mode after the 6th beep. STEP - Disassemble Exit Device Remove () screws on push pad end caps from.. Pull back push pad exposing the front activating bracket. Remove guides and roll pin from activating front & back bracket. Once connecting rods are disconnected from front 3. 4. Remove head assembly by removing () screws. activating bracket flip device over. Slide push pad forward to remove from device. 5. 6. 7. Re-attach head assembly by securing () screws. 8. Add bracket #50453 to front activating bracket. Dropping it over the top and securing it with the screw provided. 0. On the baserail, remove the back () screws from the dogging bracket.. Next, drop the motor mount in with the front over the front activating bracket. 3. Line up the back with the () available screw holes and the bracket securing the motor mount. 4. Push screws to correct position (pictured) to straighten scissor bracket and secure front end of the motor kit by tightening () screws.. 6. Tighten back end of the module by reinstalling () screws from dogging bracket. Push pad MM4 module into housing s channel on the 7. Slide back of the device. 8. Slide all the way up until the MM4 bracket is almost flush with end of the channel. 9. Connect MM4 Cable. Attach the strain relief and secure MM4 cable with a zip tie. 0.. Attach the wire guides to the inside of the baserail.. Route wires along the inside of the baserail using the wire guides. **HOOK UP TO POWER & TEST MOTOR BEFORE MOVING ON TO STEP 5.** STEP 3 - Reassemble Exit Device pins and connecting rods on both. 3. Turn over BACK push pad end cap over and start a pilot hole beneath the bottom right hand corner (see measurements below). Use the gold bracket as a guide.
