1. Designer s declaration We the undersigned hereby declare that during the design of the deck screen, we took into account and complied with the necessary occupational health and safety criteria. the construction is suitable for EYDESCREEN s task description, in accordance with the requirements stipulated in the contract and the written specifications (with verbal amendments), in accordance with the applicable Hungarian standards, the occupational Health and Safety act and other applicable legislation in effect at the time of producing the design: MSZ EN 294:1994 MSZ EN 418 Act no. The CE (Conformité Européenne) marking on the product indicates that it is fully compliant with the Directives, i.e. it is safe, and the manufacturer has verified that this is the case in the prescribed manner. 2. Warranty, guarantee 2.1 Warranty The manufacturer warrants that the device is compliant with the data in the manual. Any differences may only be aimed at achieving an even higher technical standard. The warranty obligation of the manufacturer shall only be applicable in the case of defects that occur while the machine is operated in compliance with the design operating conditions, in particular the prescribed checks and maintenance. The parties mutually agree that the manufacturer shall not be liable to pay compensation for personal injury and other damage that has not occurred due to manufacturer s serious offence. 2.2 Guarantee conditions The manufacturer provides a guarantee that the device will operate as intended and remain operable in the long term. The guarantee period and other applicable conditions are specified in the sale and purchase agreement. The guarantee does not cover: Normal wear and tear Damage caused by operating the machine in infringement of the instructions Damage caused by improper maintenance Damage caused by forceful sabotage Damage caused by factors outside the manufacturer s control (e.g. natural disasters, etc.) If the operator of the device modifies the device in any manner without the advance approval of the manufacturer and the designer the guarantee shall be null and void. 3. Purpose The device is intended for screening soil and sand and similar material, for instance river gravel. The screening is performed by screens installed on a vibrating frame. The screened sizes are determined by the mesh size of the screens. Screening occurs in two stages, the material falling through the second screen is removed from the unit by a conveyor belt. 5

4. General safety instructions In order to avoid potential injuries, the warnings in the present manual shall always be complied with. Operating personnel must receive regular training about the safety instructions. Operating personnel and persons performing repairs and maintenance must wear the personal protective equipment prescribed by the operator (gloves, protective eyewear, ear protectors, head protectors, etc.). Be safety-conscious while working with the machine. Avoid wearing loose clothing, do not have long hair loose, do not wear jewellery, etc., because they can get caught in moving parts, which may cause severe injuries. The protective panels on the machine serve your safety, so do not remove them or open them while the machine is operating. The protective panels may only be opened when the machine is not operating and the drive engine is turned off. The machine may only be cleaned, maintained and lubricated in a stationary condition. All repair work, whether mechanical or electrical in nature, shall be performed by qualified personnel. Do not touch moving and rotating parts! The present operating instructions should be stored in a readily accessible location and provided to all users. The machine may only be operated by staff instructed to do so who have received appropriate training. The operator may not open the covers and hatches over mechanical moving parts and may not perform repairs or malfunction rectification. 6

Construction The main components are held and covered by a welded, self-supporting frame structure. Main components: Diesel engine with control panel, Kubota Z602-E2B-EU-7 Separate operating instructions attached! Belt-driven conveyor belt with TRAMEC PA80A drive unit (filled with synthetic oil, Shell Omala S4 WE320, oil changing is not required unless oil is lost). Conveyor belt dimensions: 5500mm x 1000mm Screen unit with belt drive, belt tensioner, ROSTA HS 50 oscillating unit, eccentric vibration weights. Dimensions of screens: 3000mm x 1200mm Towing rod and wheels. 7

7. Operation and CONtrol Starting the machine: Check that the machine has been stationed suitably and that the pressure in the tyres is suitable. Check that the working environment is safe (unauthorised persons may not be permitted to be in the working area) Check that the diesel engine is supplied with all consumables (diesel fuel, water coolant, engine oil) Check the condition of the emergency buttons, if necessary, pull them out. Check the condition and the loading of the screens and the conveyor belt (if a larger quantity of material was left in the machine, it may not be started), the condition and tension of drive belts. Start the engine and check the oil pressure and charge indicators. Check that the engine is running freely. Check that the screened material is able to leave the machine unhindered in both directions. Start loading material into the screen. During operation, monitor the unit continuously, monitor the control panel and stop the machine if anything is jammed, obstructed, or if the machine makes an unusual noise. Screened material may not cause jamming. The screened material can leave the machine in three directions: - The screened finished product is removed by the conveyor belt - The pieces caught on the screens leave the machine at the front, they can be removed by chutes or conveyor belts Stopping the machine: Stop feeding material and keep the machine running until it empties. Stop the diesel engine. Clean and check the machine. 8. Transportation, storage When the machine is being unloaded, its weight must be taken into account. After delivery of the machine, it must be immediately checked for damage in transit. Any damage visible from the outside shall be reported to the transport/freight operator immediately, within not more than 24 hours. It is advisable to document the damage with photos. During storage, the machine must be protected from dust deposits and soiling. Storage temperature: -25 C to 40 C. Relative humidity: max. 90%. After unpacking, it must be verified that all parts of the machine were delivered. Any missing items shall be recorded. 8

9. Installation, COMMissioning The base on which the machine is installed must be flat, with a suitable load-bearing capacity and dry. The machine should only be accessed and worked on by trained personnel. The machine may only be used for the purpose specified by the manufacturer. at the time of installation, the protective casing required for safe work shall be installed on the machine. 10. Operation 10.1 Operating personnel The machine may only be operated by personnel who have received occupational health and safety training and training about operating the machine. Persons receiving instruction may only use the machine under the supervision of an experienced operator. 10.2 Health and safety regulations applicable to operation During operation of the machine, the following health and safety rules shall be complied with: The covers of the machine may not be opened while it is running. Any repair and maintenance work may only be performed on the machine when it is turned off. Performing any malfunction elimination or repair on the running machine is PROHIBITED. Touching moving and rotating parts is prohibited. The instructions specified in Section 4, General safety instructions, must be complied with. 10.3 Changing the grain size of finished product: The grain size of finished product can be changed by replacing the screens in the machine. 9

11. Troubleshooting The machine will not start: Check the position of emergency buttons, the charge level of the battery and the level of diesel fuel in the fuel tank. If it still fails to start, notify the KUBOTA service department. The vibrating deck is not moving: Check the drive belt, the fit of the band wheels, the bearings, the vibration weights, and the presence of any foreign material around the vibrating deck. The conveyor belt is not moving: Check the drive belt, the fit of the band wheels, the bearings and foreign material around the conveyor. Defects may only be remedied by suitably qualified specialists! 12. Cleaning and maintenance The reliable and safe operation of the deck screen requires general cleanliness and careful performance of maintenance work. 12.1 Cleaning the deck screen After use, the machine must be run until it is empty and then stopped securely (pressing the emergency stop button is recommended along with removal of the ignition key). After stopping the machine securely, remove all the material jammed in the screens and inspect the machine and remove any material that may have fallen under the plate panels. Occasionally, the machine should be cleaned with a high-pressure water cleaner. 12.2 Providing conditions for maintenance and repair Maintenance and repairs of the machine may only be performed when it is turned off. The operator shall provide suitably qualified specialists for repairs and maintenance of the machine, and it shall provide them with the requisite tools, protective equipment, lubricants and other equipment required for performing the task at hand. Maintenance and repair of the machine do not require any custom tools, it can be done in a maintenance workshop with standard equipment. The bearings used contain sufficient lubricant for their lifecycles. 12.3 Maintenance cycles The wear of individual parts is dependent to a great extent on the conditions of use of the machine, it some circumstances, maintenance frequencies other than those listed here may be required. 10
