The difference Upgrade programme for the Bv206
World-famous characteristics, customised for your needs A vehicle s ability to cope with work tasks depends on its characteristics and performance. Something which irrevocably worsens over time, despite regular maintenance. To renew or improve performance in order to regain the maximum performance, you need specific expertise. Here at STV, we know the Bv206, world-renowned for its flexibility and abilities, down to its smallest component. Our lengthy collaboration with the original manufacturer BAE Systems Hägglunds means that we have gathered a unique level of combined knowledge for providing advice and support regardless of whether you already own a Bv206 or are thinking of buying one. We always have the same goals: To give you, with your Bv206, a work tool that is specially designed for your specific conditions, needs and requirements. And to thereby make a clear difference to efficiency and profitability in your business. Give your Bv206 a new lease of life Increased lifespan Optimised performance Customised
A supplier who always gives 100% We have customers around the world. We therefore understand you as an owner and the challenges you may face. This gives us the insight and knowledge to supply the improvements that you most need. Together with BAE, we have developed a leading, cost-efficient improvement programme MLI, or Mid Life Improvement. This means that we can offer alternative engine replacements with subsequent complete restoration, extending the vehicle s lifespan by 25 years. And we re not satisfied with just repairing the key components we improve each individual part in the vehicle s various systems. Following the MLI programme, the tracked vehicle is ready to be put to work again, with advantages such as significantly greater performance and lower fuel consumption.
Customised solutions to enhance your business A tracked vehicle from STV can be supplied for a number of transport requirements. With the original cab on the rear section, it can be adapted to anything from staff transport to ambulance transport or a tourist vehicle. Cab heating can be provided either from the engine or from a separate diesel heater. We are also designing and manufacturing new cabs for the rear section. These are very well insulated and are used in places such as Antarctica as accommodation and research modules. Other areas of use include as rest cabins for staff or as workshop modules. The cabs can also be fitted on a hook loader frame. For material transport, the rear section can be adapted entirely to the customer s needs. The most common solution is to fit it with a fixed flat bed. Fitting the flat bed to a swap body frame instead will increase flexibility. If the flat bed is also fitted with a crane, this can simplify work tasks carried out. The crane can be supplied in various sizes and makes, depending on the individual customer s needs. To manage heavier lifting and provide added stability, we can fit support legs. The rear section can also be fitted with tanks which can hold either water or fuel.
