Page 2 von 4 pages of the examination report Nr. A61101003 1 Object of Examination In accordance with the criteria of certification issued by the DIBt. The PVC Flooring was delivered in due packing form on 17.01.2011. 2 Extend of Examination We tested the samples according to the accreditation criteria to search for volatile and mediavolatile organic compounds (VVOC, VOC and SVOC). Analyses applied to the scheme of the AgBB for the evaluation of the emission of volatile organic compounds for products of the building industry. The examination in accordance with the accreditation criteria of the DIBt requires to take samples on Tenax and DNPH-cartridges after 3 days and 28 days. 3 3.1 Method of examination Setting up oft he test pieces We took one panel from the middle of the package received, cut out two pieces and applied them with the backsides together. The narrow sides were sealed with aluminium foil. Then we fixed the test piece between two aluminium frames with hose clips. The dimensions of one emitting surface were 0,095 m x 0,095 m. picture 1: sample on delivery
Page 3 von 4 pages of the examination report Nr. A61101003 3.2 Test Chamber The analysis was performed in a glass test chamber with glass cover in accordance with DIN ISO 16000-9. The test chamber had a cubic contents of 22,5 Liter. Examination temperature within the chamber was 23 C ± 1 C, a relative humidity of 50 % ± 5 %, a rate of air exchange of 1 h-1. The flow velocity ranges between 0,1 and 0,3 m/s. The area specific flow rate (q=n/l) was 1,25 m³/m²h ± 3 %. Abbildung 3: test piece in glass chamber After defining the blank value of the air within the test chamber, the test piece was applied into the test chamber on 17.01.2011. We took the first samples on 20.01.2011 (3 day measurement), the second on 24.01.2011 (7 day measurement) and we took the third sample on 14.02.2011-28 days after the application into the test chamber. Within each sample drawing, we took two air samples via sampling automats (type "Dräger Accuro 2000") on sorbent tubes filled with Tenax TA. The volume was 4 litres air of the test chamber at each sampling. And we took one air sample via sampling automats (type "Dräger Accuro 2000") on sorbent tubes "Supelco LPDNPH S10" for volatile Aldehydes. The volume was 48 litres air. The results of the test chamber analysis were recorded as the balance concentration resulting within the test chamber in [µg/m³].
